"Gameknight!" Me and Tommy's villager friends yelled, he looked at us as he flew backwards fear planted on his face. Then he flew into the crowd of zombies and disappeared. All the villagers stood their in shock. How could their leader be dead?

Their shock was quickly replaced by anger. I looked over to see tears streaming down Hunters face while at this same time, she was screaming at the sky and firing arrows non-stop. I followed her gaze and felt my eyes narrow.

NightmareGamer, an enchanted bow in her hand. All the villagers were screaming and throwing stuff at her while her smile of success was getting bigger. A sudden realization hit me. She killed Gameknight. That was her first goal. Her second goal was to get this villagers to...

I grabbed a firework that Crafter was trying to fire at the hacker and snapped it upward before it flew into the air and exploded, causing all the villagers to stop and look at the giant creeper face.

"Stop this now!" I yelled at them, throwing off my helmet (again). "That hacker is trying to toy with your emotions! What would Gameknight want you to do? Are you gonna play her game, or re-set the playing board?" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

NightmareGamer's eyes narrowed. "How did you escape? Doesn't matter- your to late!"

Screams came at the east wall. We all turned and saw a small boy being attacked by the monsters over and over. The doors had been knocked down and they rushed toward us on the far wall.

"Herder!" I heard someone scream before the boy looked up at us, fear in his eyes, then his skin turned a sicky  green color and his pupils turned red. The wolves that once surrounded the boy backed off, unsure of what to do.

"NO!" Screamed a girl named Stitcher. Punching the wall. "Why did we have to be so blind?"

The villagers looked toward the zombies to the east and I saw them slump with defeat. Seriously? Did my speech inspire no one? I scanned Gameknight's friends and looked for ideas.

The Crafter one had dull eyes that used to be filled with the brightness of a thousand stars with tears streaming down his face. He raised his hand, stretched it high into the night, and squeazed his fist until it popped. The other villagers saw this and followed his example.

Um, OK. I leaned over to Hunter. "What does that mean?" I whispered.

"Its a salute for the dead." She whispered back.

"Oh, OK, thanks."

I looked back at the zombies moving closer. I gasped at the numbers flooding in. There were thousands!

"Everyone- RUN!" I yelled. People looked at me with pure fear, but didn't argue. They quickly grabbed their children and family and ran toward the moat, jumping in and getting away as fast as they could.

"Run to the village to the south!" Crafter yelled after them. I turned to see anger and sadness still filling his eyes, I grabbed his arm and pulled him toward the moat.

"No- we need a distraction." He said, turning to plant some fireworks and TNT.
I took them. "I know." I said, before pushing him off the wall and towards the moat with the other villagers. From what I'd learned, he was the most important villager here, he was smart, so for goodness sake I would love for him to be up here.

But the people staying knew they weren't going to live, that wasn't the main idea.

The main idea was to give time for the others to escape.

I looked around at the others who remained. Hunter, who threatened to shoot me in the face if I pushed her to the moat, Stitcher, her sister, who had tears streamed down her face, and a large dude named Digger. Also a bunch of fireworks and TNT. We could do this.
