Hunter sprinted hard, having to make up for the loss of time. Gameknight was running noisily beside her, his breaths heavy from the run. Hunter heard a boom echo from their camp but didn't look back. If the threat was as big as Ash had described, they had no time to waist.
"You know something I never quite understood?" Gameknight asked between breaths. Hunter rolled her eyes.
"I can never understand why you're such and idiot." She grumbled. Gameknight ignored her comment.
"Where did Diamond and Ash come from? I know me and Alex came through the digitizer and smashed it in the process, but they didn't..." He said, trailing off in thought.
Hey Monet, can you check on Ash through Shawny's avatar? Gameknight asked through chat. No response.
Shawny? Nothing.
Hello? Monet?! Jenny? You better not be opening a water bottle or playing around!.
Again, no response. Gameknight began to panic. What was happening in the physical world?
"Hunter something's wrong." He said quietly. Hunter looked over at him as they ran.
"Hm?"
"Monet, my sister, and Shawny aren't responding in the Physical world." Gameknight stated, fear enveloping him.
Confusion passed over Hunter's face, and then she remembered.
"Oh! I mean oh. Well, there isn't much we can do from here..." She said with a frown. Gameknight knew she was right but still felt bad.
If I and never tried to come into Minecraft while I was supposed too be watching Jenny, none of this would have happened! I guess I'm going have to wait until Dad gets home and them he'll have to fix my mess. Again.
Gameknight sighed and slowed to a walk as they approached the village. Hunter pulled out her bow and Gameknight pulled out his diamond and iron swords. They carefully crept toward a hole in the wall and peered in. The could see zombies milling through the streets.
Gameknight waited for the zombies to move to another part of town and ran towards the tower at the center, Hunter hot on his heals. He dashed through an open wall and broke the block above the secret passage way, signaling for Hunter to go down. She raised an eye brow and opened her mouth to speak, but Gameknight cupped his hand over mouth and pointed outside, the sound of approaching zombies filling the air. She nodded slowly, her crimson curls bouncing on her shoulders before disappearing down the ladder. Gameknight followed in pursuit and placed the block back over his head, encasing them in darkness.
...
They slowly moved down the ladder into the dark depths, the sounds of zombies getting fainter and fainter. Hunter looked up at Gameknight.
"Why are we coming down here? It only the- ohhhh. The crafting chamber." Hunter stated, figuring it out. Gameknight nodded, but it being dark, Hunter couldn't see him.
