"I'm sorry, did you just say that you miss me?" I asked her. "Yeah I did. Is that a problem?" "No no, it's not. It's just that...I kinda miss you too." I saw her smile a bit after I said that. "Well, I just wanted to spend some time with you before the wedding." "Oh right, the wedding. So, who's your fiancé?" I asked her.
She went quiet after that. "I'm sorry, did I say something?" "No you didn't. Don't worry, it's just all happening at once. Ehm, his name is Luke. We met at work before I got fired." "Woah, you got fired?" "Yeah, long story short..it was about a cup of coffee." "Wow, that sounds really stupid."
Luke eh? I hope he treats her right just like I did, or at least I hope I did.
15 minutes later
"We're here!" She exclaimed when she saw the store. "Wow, I thought it was going to be a small store." I said out loud. "So, what kind of dress are you looking for exactly?" "Well, maybe something like a long dress with a medium length train. If they don't have anything like that, then I'll just look for something simple but something. Sorry it's really hard to explain."
"Oh it's fine. You don't have to explain it. I was just wondering, you'll look very beautiful on your special day." I said in a kinda sad tone. I knew she wanted to say something but she didn't. I just made things awkward, didn't I? "I want you to come to my wedding." She said all of a sudden.
"What?" "I want you to come to my wedding." "I thought you just wanted me to come and find a dress with you." "I did, until I started thinking about it I wanted to invite you or not." "Okay, so when's the date of the wedding?" "Ehm, we're still deciding. We want the wedding to be in the summer."
"Summer huh? Sounds like a good idea." I said, not knowing what else to say. "Well, let's go in and find you a dress, shall we?" I said jokingly.
We walked in and it looked like heaven. "Wow, this is a really beautiful place." "Yeah it is, that's why I decided to come here." She said to me. We walked around for a bit, and oh, did I mention that it's two stories tall? Yeah, this place is HUGE!
Jade picked out some dresses that she liked and tried them on.

"Which one do you like?" She asked me after she tried all 3 on. "Are there more that you want to try on?" I asked her, dodging her question. "Yeah there are, these are just the ones that caught my eye when I first saw them." "Okay well, I like...the second or the third one. They're all beautiful but I just like those two more."
"Hm, I think I do too. I'm not so sure yet." I kept looking around the building to see if there was any other spot we could go too. "Hey, isn't that Gabrielle?" She turned around and looked to where I was looking. "Oh, I think that is Gabrielle. We haven't seen her in a long time." Gabrielle, she was a student at our high school. She would always get into trouble.
I remember in 11th grade, she came to school with a big tattoo on her arm saying, "Life's short, do big things." But instead of saying "big" it said "beg" which was really embarrassing. She looked over to us and we turned our heads quickly. "Jade? Perrie? Is that you?" She said in a happy tone. That was unusual. I turned around with a fake smile saying, "Gabrielle! Hi, it's been a really long time! How are you?"
She leaned in for a hug and I looked at Jade for help. We both never liked her and she never liked us. I hugged her back but it was strange. I mean, it was like she was a different person! Well, after 6 years of high school, you're bound to change right? Right?? "I'm alright, just helping a friend out with her wedding dress for her..wedding." It took a lot of strength in me not to cry, you don't know how hard it was to say that without tearing up.
"Jade, you're having a wedding? Can I come!" She shouted, even though her name tag told us that she worked here..and should be working instead of talking to us.
