Chapter 2| Forgiveness

There is little to no traffic ahead of them, so it's a quick ride to Zayn's house from there, it's probably a twenty-minute walk. However, time seemed to have passed by quickly in just those few moments.

Having parked the car, Zayn waits for Josh to get out first. Once he does, Zayn grabs the shirt he left and slips it on quickly. He exits the car and is near the door of the house where Josh is waiting for him.

There's no time to get his key ready when Josh is pushing him up against the door. He's then pulling his head for a kiss. It's just a routine now with him. Takes the chance and tries to push him away.

Of course, that only spurs him on. He is already grabbing at Zayn's arms, pinning them above his head as he had before. There's little time to react when Josh is pulling away from him slightly, resting his forehead against his own.

He's growling at him, "Let go of me."

Josh is now smirking, not mean this time, but it just seemed so suspicious. His lips are hovering over his, where they lightly brushed against his. He stepped closer and not a moment too soon. Their chests are pressing together tightly.

Huskily, he whispers, "Make me." His lips are on his again in a heartbeat.

Not a moment too soon, he brought his knee up, there is loud groaning, and Zayn is quickly inside his house. Prepared, he locks the door, leaving Josh outside the home. That is the most he could do at the moment. He didn't want to do anything else that he would hate himself later.

There's little time left before he hears Josh laughing on the other end of the door.

"Oh, Zaynie, you know there's going to be a consequence for that."

He did know that. But despite what happened earlier, he didn't want to deal with him right now. He only wanted to relax after what happened. He has to change the cloth for his nose. That's what he does right now, going to the kitchen to grab a new one.

He grabs some water from the fridge before lying down on the sofa after tossing his phone there a second ago. He never noticed the splitting headache that had washed over him. He was too caught up in the moment he just never realized it.

Silence envelops the room. The clock is the only thing that is making any noise whatsoever. That roughhousing in the bar just seemed to have taken a lot out of him. There's nothing that he wouldn't do to not get into any types of fights. That's not him.

If he were still smoking, he would have a swig of it right now. However, having been clean for the longest time, he doesn't want to damage his safety since he's now healthy. He doesn't want to go down that path again.

Minutes passed, and soon, it turned into hours given time. Zayn remains lying down, waiting for himself to fall asleep. He wanted to get some amount of sleep so he wouldn't be that tired in the morning.

Before he could, there's a buzzing going off near his head. Perking his head up, he sees his phone, groaning softly, he picks it up seeing that same number who kept calling and texting him nonstop. It's getting annoying.
