Chapter 19| Liam vs Josh

"Joshua John Devine!!"

He turned around catching the hot fiery glare from Liam as he stormed towards him. Oh crap. He may have messed up big time. Maybe telling Zayn wasn't the best option.

But he needed to know.

"Liam – whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Calm down!"

"What the hell are you doing telling Zayn that you still love him?!"

He had quickly started backing up as Liam had kept approaching him. He wanted to be at least twice arm's length to him at best. Though it didn't stop him from getting closer.

"Because I still do! He deserves to know!"

"What he is going to know is that his ex-boyfriend is getting his teeth knocked out of his face!"

"Whoa! Whoa, whoa! Wait!"

The new voice caught Liam's attention as he turned to his side to look at Niall who looked very concerned about what could be happening in front of him just now.

"What in the world is going on here?" He asked concerned.

"It's none of your business–,"

"Niall is one of Zayn's close friends now, I suggest you show a little respect." Liam glowered at him. He couldn't believe he was a jerk to even him after becoming friends with Zayn.

"Again. What the hell is going on here?" He asked.

Liam turned his head to look at him. "Apparently, as the arrogant ass kisser that he is, Josh is still in love with my boyfriend."

The shocked expression on his face was clearly evident. "What?"

"He deserves to know before you get into a serious–,"

Liam looked back to him to glare at him. "The more you keep talking, the more bones I plan on breaking in your body."

He took a step towards him once again only for Niall to lift his hand and rest it on his arm. For a moment, he was glad he was going to try to hold him back.

Though it was clear that he wanted to snap his neck.

"I don't think this is the right way to handle it," Niall suggested.

"I hope you realize that I'm not going to sit down and have a chat with the man who is in love with my boyfriend." He said glancing a look his way.

"I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to do. But it would be the wise choice to not hurt him. Given that you gave your word to Zayn not to."

Josh stared at him in silence where he slowly lowered his arms. From what he heard just now explains why he wouldn't hurt him earlier. He gave his word that he wouldn't hurt him.

That's when he realized. He would only hurt him if probably provoked.

"Oh, so that's what you meant!"

Liam turned his head to glare at him.

"Well then tell me something, what would you do if I touched you?"

"Don't tempt me..." he growled.

Josh took a step forward only to take a step back when Liam took a dangerous step towards him. This only brought Niall to bring a hand to his wrist to stop him.

"Don't. You hurting him won't make a difference."

"Come on Liam." He continued as he walked over to him. "How would you feel if I had kissed him right before he went back into the house? Or if our hot writhing bodies were–,"
