He glanced at the ground and Zayn shook his head. Being honest, he wasn't surprised. He expected it to be someone that he knew. Though the one thing that did surprise him was that it had to be his ex-boyfriend.

That was the only thing that surprised him. But then again he shouldn't be surprised anymore.

"You know," he started. "Out of all the things that you have told me took me by surprise."

Liam watched him carefully to make sure that he was hearing correctly.

"And surprisingly, your choice in men doesn't surprise me." He spared a look at Harry then looked to Liam. "Liam, come on. Let's go home."

"Wait!"

Josh jumped forward taking slow strides towards him.

"You know how sorry I am about not telling you the truth, but I'm trying my best to work on what I've done and come clean to you. You know that I want to restore our relationship."

"Josh stop–,"

"I love you!" he stated only to place a soothing hand against his neck lovingly. "I never stopped loving you."

He wanted to lean into the touch but instead, he pushed his arm away refusing to let him touch him. He wanted nothing to do with him.

"Stop." He warned. "I'm happy where I am in life. So, do me a favor, please, and move on. Forget about me already."

"I can't," he protested, he brought his other hand up to hold his neck to let his thumb brush against his cheek. "I can't forget the love of my life."

"So that explains everything about Ashton then," he retorted.

He proceeded to pull away from his grasp. It was only for Josh to reach forward and grabbed his hand. Zayn turned his head around to look at him angered.

"Zayn please," he pleaded.

"Let me go. Liam, let's go!"

"No! Wait, please–,"

"Let go of him."

Liam took Zayn's other hand only for Josh and Liam to glare at one another. It was clear that their steam about each other had not yet blown away.

"If he wanted to talk to you he would have suggested it."

"Why don't you just get over the fact that he still has feelings for me?"

"I'm really holding back not to kick your ass in front of him. Don't tempt me."

"Oh, really? Then come on pretty boy. Show me what you're made of."

Zayn quickly pushed both of them to each end of his arms. "Guys! Stop! Knock it off!"

Niall was about to jump in but Zayn quickly said, "Niall! I got this."

He looked between his ex and his current boyfriend.

"Stop it! Both of you! You're both acting like idiots!"

Liam protested, "I'm an idiot? He's the idiot!"

Josh slapped his hand out of his face. "Fuck you!"

It wasn't until everything was in slow-mo.

First, it was Josh who had pushed Zayn out of the way into the parked car. He had thrown a punch into Liam's gut. Then it was Liam who threw him into another parked car.
