Chapter 5| The Fair (Pt. 1)

It wasn't until they reached the festival that Zayn's mood had begun to change. Both Louis and Josh had realized it. He was staring at the sign for the festival worried about what was to come.

Now, they waited in the car for a few minutes to make sure that Zayn would be alright. Josh placed a hand on his lover's forearm to make sure he was alright.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to."

Zayn shook his head now. He could suffice. "No, I'll be fine. Let's go."

Now they left the truck and entered the festival looking around and enjoying the place as well as the food and games. When it came to a certain point Josh pointed towards a photo booth.

They ran towards it as the three of them took pictures with each other.

Once they had their pictures they turned away from the booth and looked at the pictures. They were all goofy faces coming from each of them. 

"You look hilarious in this one Louis," Zayn laughed.

"I tried my best," Louis grinned.

They all moved over to go and sit down at a table where the three of them talked about the basic stuff in life where Zayn was engaging the conversation. He hadn't talked to anyone else except some close friends in years. And he liked it.

"No way, you did not do that," Zayn said laughing lightly.

"Yes, I shoved his face into the cake," Louis said and looked at Josh as he shook his head with a hand pressed against his face.

"I still haven't forgiven you for that," Josh said.

"So?" Louis laughed. "I don't regret doing that."

"I wouldn't either," Zayn laughed.

"Hey!" Josh pouted.

"I'm kidding, you know I am," Zayn said wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

He brought his lips to his cheek and kissed it softly. Then he looked at Josh again only seeing him still looking upset. Josh looked at Zayn now.

"I need one here," he pointed to his lips. "Or else I won't believe you."

"Okay," he said.

Zayn placed a soft kiss on his lips as he slowly pulled back and Josh now smiled. He said, "You're forgiven, Zaynie."

Zayn chuckled.

Josh then said, "I need to pee. I'll be back in a sec."

Zayn nodded and he left heading to the bathroom as Louis looked down at Zayn after moving to sit on top of the table. Zayn looked up at Louis now once Josh was out of hearing range.

Then he said, "No, really. I would have done the same thing."

Louis laughed again. "Let's team up next time when it's his birthday."

"Nice," he said smiling.

Louis then looked over to where Josh had vanished then looked down at Zayn. He gave a soft smile. "You two make a wonderful couple."

Zayn smiled. "Thank you. By the way, how did you and Josh meet? He never told me."

"Well," he started. "We go way back. We met before secondary school started, that was the day I was going to transfer as well. So he felt bad and hung out with me to make sure that I have one last day of fun."
