Chapter 29| Secret Girlfriend

One Week Later

"Well, baby, this is our house. What do you think?"

Liam kissed Zayn's cheek lovingly. Zayn smiled at him. "I love it, but I love you more."

He turned his head and Liam pecked him on his lips. "I love you too."

Zayn grabbed his hands and pulled him along. "Come on, go upstairs and start unpacking. I'm going to unpack down here, okay?"

"All right babe," he said and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

He walked up the stairs as Zayn went into the living room. He pulled a box down from the four that were stacked on top of one another. He placed the box on the couch.

He pulled out a few picture frames before he began placing them on the mantle. He walked around before he placed a few more frames along the walls.

He went back to the box as he picked out the clock and walked over to hang it on the nail above the door. He had grabbed a chair to stand on top of it to place it there until the doorbell rang.

He glanced over before he set the clock down and walked over to the door. He pulled it open where a woman smiled at him holding out a basket of baked goods.

"Hi, I'm Danielle! I noticed you moved in a few days ago."

He smiled lightly. "Indeed, I'm Zayn."

He produced a hand out to her and she took it. "I've brought a welcome basket for you. I baked them myself."

"Oh, you didn't need to do that," he said. He took the basket from her hands once she pushed her arms out towards him.

"I don't mind, I do this with all new neighbors."

He smiled. "Come on in."

He pushed the door open further and stepped to the side. She walked in with a small smile on her lips. He shut the door behind them as he went to the kitchen to set the basket down.

Danielle walked into the living room where Zayn glanced over to her. He looked at her curiously.

"Would you like something to drink?"

She looked over. "Water's fine."

He nodded. He reached up and took a glass out of the cabinet. He pushed the cup against the fridge and ice came out. He went to the faucet and turned on the faucet.

He proceeded to walk over and handed the glass to her. She thanked him and took it. She looked him over for a brief second then sipped her water.

"Is there something wrong?"

She shook her head. "Oh, no. Is it just you here?"

"My boyfriend is upstairs, would you like to meet him?"

She gave a small smile, quite cautiously. "Sure!"

"I'll be right back, I'll go get him."

He walked away from her before he started his way up the stairs. He paused there for a second once he saw Liam walking over. He held a blanket out with a questioning look.

"Really?" He asked with a sly grin.

Zayn grabbed it from his hand. He smiled. "Be quiet."

Liam laughed lightly. He placed a soft kiss on his cheek.
