Chapter 22| House Visit

"You've reached Liam Payne's mailbox, please leave a message and he'll get back to you as soon as he can. Have a good day!"

"Damn it, Liam!"

Louis looked down at his phone before he looked to Zayn. He didn't want to leave him. Liam told him to keep an eye on him. But if he didn't leave...

...there was no telling what Liam would do to Josh.

"Just go."

Louis stared at Zayn uneasily. "You sure? Liam told me to keep an eye on you."

"Yea," Zayn looked down at his body. "I'm pretty sure I can't go anywhere, so..."

Louis gave a small smile. "I'll be back as soon as you know it."

He darted out of the room quickly to make his way after Liam. He left the building and made it to his car before he started it up. He drove out of the parking lot before he dashed over to Josh's.

Zayn lay awake as he worried over Liam. Maybe it wasn't the wisest decision in telling him to make things right. Louis might be right after all about that.

He brought his head forward to look down at his leg. He noticed the cast that wrapped around his leg. At least he now knew why he wasn't able to move his leg now.

He rested his head before he heard a knock on the door and someone entered. He turned his head where he saw his doctor enter the room.

"Mr. Malik, Federal Agent Luke Hemmings wants to ask you a few questions."

Unsure, Zayn rose an eyebrow in question. "Um, yeah, sure..."

The doctor turned to his side and Michael stepped into the room. He walked over to the side of the bed and glanced down at him. He gave a small smile.

"You're lucky to be alive. There are people who actually die from car accidents."

He gave a small nod. "Actually, do you know who...hit me?"

"Do you happen to know a man by the name of Ashton Irwin?"

Liam knocked on the door as he waited for him to come to the door. It wasn't long until Josh walked over and opened the door to stare at Liam.

"We need to talk."

"No, we don't."

He went to shut the door. Liam blocked it open with his foot.

"Yes, we do."

He pushed the door open and Josh backed up slightly. Liam shut the door before he went ahead to stare at Josh for a second. Then thought for a moment.

He could end this bastards life right now and be rid of him forever however Zayn would not like that. Or he could make peace but he knows that he would try to get back together with Zayn.

Liam motioned to the living room. "Let's have a little chat, you and I."

"I want nothing to do with you." He said. "After what happened Zayn will never forgive me."

Liam chuckled, "You and me both. But that's not the point. I'm here to settle things between us."

He grew angry. "I'm not going to fight you. What's the point anyway? You would kill me if you wanted to but you know that Zayn will hate you for doing that."
