-Linnea-

I dangle and wave my feet over the edge of the chair as it rises over a small cliff of snow.

"I'm so glad you could do this with me." Albin smiles.

I return with a grin, accept I am not happy to be here with him. I am just happy to be out of the house in general.

"Have you ever skied before?" I ask.

He rubs repositions his clothes as if he is nervous. "Yes, well I mean I have once before."

I nodded, he must be lying. judging by the way he prepared himself mentally before sitting on the chair lift he has never gone before.

"Well, it is a lot of fun you just have to get used to it."

We get ready to land on the top of the hill pulling up the bar and making our way around to the top of the hill.

"Ready?" I ask.

He nods. I think he is scared but I cannot exactly tell under his mask.

"You go first." he nudges.

"Are you sure?" He nods with his face waving in all directions.

"Fine with me." I look over the edge of the hill and take off pushing my poles behind me faster and faster; waving my skis back and forth down the hill.

I pull to the side to wait for Albin to come down. If I would have known he was going to take this long I would have gone by myself.

Looking at the top of the hill, I see wind pick up and take the top layer of snow with it, and Albin stand with his hands out trying to block the snow with his hands.

"Well if you start going the wind isn't as bad!" I say to myself. I cannot help but laugh at him.

He pulls himself together and makes his way down the hill. His scream is steady and his arms flail in ever direction.

He races past me at an insane speed "Put your skis together to slow down!" I holler down the hill, but he doesn't stop until his skis collapse at the bottom of the hill.

I make my way down the hill to find his limps stuck in knots.

"Are you okay?" He somehow unravels himself and stands up.

"Yes! Can we go again?" I laugh at him and straighten him helmet on his head.

"Okay, this time I am going to help you." I pull chucks of snow out of his jacket and off his face before we head back out onto the ski lift.

Our skis lift off the ground once again and once we reach the top the chair releases us off the top of the hill.

"Okay, so start with your skis close together at the front, this is how you slow down." I ski in front of him and turn around so I am prepared to catch him.

He holds his hands out to steady himself and slowly makes his way down about a meter or so.

"Good!" I smile and drag my skis in the snow so I flow lower down the hill.

"What are you doing?" His eyes shake.

"Just focus on coming towards me!" I say holding my hands out prepared to catch him.

He releases his skis a little further until he completely looses control making his way straight for me.

"Stop!!" I shout, but I know it us too late. He charges straight for me and flops over so we tumble down the rest of the hill.

Once we stop I feel my head spinning and Albin rests in top of me.

"Okay..." I tap his back trying to get him off of me but he does not budge. He just rests on top of me without moving.
