-Felix-

My eyes are the second pair to open in the morning, at some point in the night Flyer moved from her bed into my arms and this morning she plays with the loose ends of my hair waking me.

"Morning." She whispers. I close my eyes pretending to sleep again.

I suddenly feel the urge to scare her so I soar up from my place an land on top of her tickling her sides.

"FELIX!" she shouts. I cannot help but laugh, her body cringes from my touch.

"You never said stop!" I laugh. She flinches more and more trying to avoid my hands but it's pointless.

"Stop!" She begs between her laughs.

"And where's your manners? Rude dog!"

"Please! Felix please."

She tries to calm herself but she still breathes hard. Her chest rises and falls at such a pace. I place my hand along her collar bone to help her breath.

Her eyes are fragrant green in this light. Even her lashes seem to glow a gold hue.

She places her arms behind her head like I had done the night before.

I laugh, "Is it my turn to confess something?"

She shrugs and smiles at me.

I turn serious, I think of what I really want from her, more than anything.

"What's your name?" I whisper. I don't think she understands how much I want to know.

She sits up and cannot muster the courage to look at me anymore.

"Flyer it's just a name, why do you trust me with your body and not even your own name?"

I think about what I just said. Nothing we have ever done together suggests she trusts me that way either. I have allowed her to make a move on me if she pleased.

"Have you ever done anything with anyone?"

She looks at my lips as she speaks, it's better than looking at the floor I guess.

"I have never slept with anyone if that's what you are asking."

"I haven't either." I say, I think of the one time Maja tried to, but I avoided her attempts for whatever reason now I am grateful I did.

"Who was your first kiss?" I ask.

She moves her eyes around the room avoiding the answer like it is the plague.

"Flyer? Who was your kiss to?"

She covers her face, why doesn't she want to tell me?

"Flyer, I won't be mad; was it me? Don't be embarrassed." I say, it's fine if she hasn't kissed many people.

"Oscar. she whispers.

"See, why can you tell me those secrets and not your name- wait... what?" The room is silent. She kissed Oscar? I have trouble avoiding the image of them together in my mind.

"When?"

"Before I met you, I found your letter with the picture of your smile and I thought it was his smile." She sobs now. "I really believed he was Writer. I tried to make him smile so I could compare it to the picture, but he wouldn't." she twirls her fingers and fidgets. "I lost control and I kissed him thinking he was you so he would smile."

"The smile didn't match the photo." I say.

"No."

I hate for her to feel this way, I never intended to start the morning off like this so I choose to make lighter of the conversation.

"Was he any good?" I bend over like how I see gossiping girls do at our school.

Her smile shows and she hits my arm falling back into the bed. I know that did the trick.

"He was okay I guess, I mean I only have you to compare it to."

"And who kisses better my dear Flyer?"

I lean down pressing my lips gingerly to hers just to refresh her memory of Oscar's competition.

"I don't know, Oscar is pretty good." She shrugs and watches my reactions. I make a face and move away from her.

"Awww hun don't be sad, he just has more practice than you." I am about to flip out at her until I see her laugh. I know her intentions are just to joke around.

"If I am so bad that just means we have to practice more." I say. I pull her towards me so she slides over my body and swoop into a kiss.

"I guess you are pretty good." She says as we break.

"Oh! So you want me to stop?"

"No no no! You are horrible and need a lot of teaching!" she insists holding my shoulders within her hands.

"Well now you are just hurting my feelings!" I shoot her a dirty look.

"Oh come here!!" She draws to me close to her one last time.

"I think we have to go." I look outside and I see steady ground, the train has arrived.

Just as we speak Daff opens the door covering his eyes.

"You guys need to get ready." he says.

"You know were dressed right?" but he closes the door before he hears me speak.

"Alrighty, I guess we go then." Flyer smiles.

We head out and find the luggage room to collect our bags.

"To the concert hall?" Oscar asks me.

"To the concert hall, we have Foooers awaiting us." I say and we head out.

*.*.*.*

We arrive to the venue freshly showered and polished. Girls scream their high pitch squeals outside welcoming us.

"We have a smaller crowd today." Omar smiles.

"A crowd nonetheless! Lets give them a show to remember!"

We work our way in behind stage and set up the last of our mica before we head out.

"10 minute warning until show time." Daff says checking his watch. His hands are full of papers and phones.

We stand at the edge of the stage waiting for our opening singer to preform.

I feel a familiar hand take my arm. Without thinking I turn to kiss the lips the arm belongs to thinking it is Flyer. I am mistaking though, Maja stands there.

"Oh! I'm sorry." I say pulling away before I cause any damage.

"Don't be." she smiles. "how much time do you have?"

I check my watch. "9 minutes."

"That's plenty of time." she says pulling my arm behind a mess of curtains.
