In the year 2020, a lot has changed in Rosewood. People move out, others move in. Students got graduated while teachers got promoted. It's the same town as before minus the creepy A- stalker.
The town may have changed but it doesn't keep the girls & boys from the 2010 generation to meet, and that day was Special for one of the liar.
That day, everyone was telling to meet at the Brew for a "big news".
Spencer Hastings came back from Washington just for this Special occasion, she was very excited to see everyone.
It was May 11th 2020 and as always, Spencer arrived first. She sat a big table and ordered a few coffees and a bottle of champagne -knowing something important was going to be annonced- .
Emily, Hanna and Alison arrived afterwards. They began chatting and catching up. That was before Toby, her ex boyfriend, showed up as well.
She knew he was going to be here, that may be the reason she put on the red dress he used to like so much and she didn't hide the fact that she still had feelings for him. No, actually, she did hide it, but not to herself. She never stopped loving him, the breakup was just because their paths were different, not because they stopped loving each other.
During this trip, she was hoping to get him back. He always told her he would love her till the end of time and she was counting on it. But not right now, today was about-
- Aria! Finally! We've been waiting for you guys! She said to Aria/Ezra/Caleb/Alison

- Yeah! What's so urgent ? Emily said with excitement

Aria looked at Ezra and he began talking
- We got engaged a few nights ago!

- Oh my god congratulation ! They all answered together.
They opened up the champagne and started talking details. Spencer was happy for Aria but she couldn't keep starting at him. His blue eyes could still keep her busy for hours. She was about to ask him something until he got up to a girl who just walked in.

- Sorry i'm late my car wouldn't start. She said kissing Toby on the cheek.

- Hey Yvonne. Heard the big news ? Hanna asked

- Yeah Toby just texted me! Congratulation guys! You two are just perfect together. She said hugging Aria than Ezra with excitement.

Everyone seemed normal but Spencer was completely lost. Who was this girl ? Why didn't anyone tell her about her ?
She whispered to Emily
" Who is she ?"
"It's Yvonne, Toby's girlfriend"
Spencer nervously smiled to that answer.
She pretended to look at her phone to say
"Oh sorry, i have to go. But i'll see you guys okay ? Again congratulation"
" Don't forget the engagement party in three days. All of you are invited of course"
"Great"

She quickly left the Brew and started to cry.
She never felt so stupid in her entire life. The whole thing caught her by surprise.
She heard someone coming out and stopped the crying.
- Spencer ?

- Hum?

- You left so quickly i barely got the chance to say Hello. How are you ?

She sighted in relief that he did not see she was crying and answered

- I'm okay. What about you ? It has been a while. And Yvonne she seems great.

- We started dating a few months ago but we're really connecting you know ?
I'm sorry, i shouldn't talk about this with you, not very nice of me

- No it's okay. I have a boyfriend too, it's pretty serious. He just had to stay in DC for the week so...
she lied

- Oh cool. Well. It was nice talking to you.

- Yeah me too. She watched him go back inside

- And Spence, this dress still suits you.

- Thx. She smiled
