Teenage Dream

Ever since his engagement with Yvonne, Toby hasn't been talking to Spencer a lot. They're not on the same page at all anymore.
After Spencer told him to leave Rosewood, he thought about it and decided to do so, even though leaving her and everything would be hard.
Two days later, at 9, he went to see her: to tell her about it.
(Watch video if you don't remember. But who doesn't remember this ?! )

After she closed the door, Spencer couldn't hold it anymore, she needed to let it out. When she told him to leave town, she never thought he would actually do it. She never felt so stupid, she felt like herself when she was 17 [around seventeen if i'm right]. She didn't want to hold on to him but she did, and she hated it. She hated the fact that she still had feelings for her high school boyfriend. And right now, she just wanted him to stay: but she couldn't tell him, it was too late now.

Toby closed the door and sat a little. It's official, he's leaving for good. The fact itself made him sad and hearing Spencer crying through the door was the worse, worse than when Mona made him watch her cry during the time when he was A-.
He got up and put his hand on the doorknob, but ended up going back to his truck.
He wanted to come in and reassure her, but it wasn't his job: not anymore...

A few weeks later, Spencer and Toby still weren't talking at all. Spencer avoided him as much as she could and Toby was mainly staying in his house, thinking. He wanted to call her and set things straight but he knew it wouldn't end up well.
Finally, the last day arrived. It was 8 o clock on the afternoon and Toby was leaving the next day, same hour.
He met people after people to say his last goodbyes -while Yvonne was in Maine settling things with her parents- but no Spencer. He was mad and disappointed. He thought she could put their different behind her but no, she didn't. He just wanted to say goodbye but now he'll never get the chance...
Emily arrived after Caleb left the parking in front of the house he built - for Spencer ❤️-

- Heyy. *she hugged him* How are you feeling ?

- Nervous I guess. I mean, i'm getting married in a few months and, I'm leaving. So yeah i'm freaking out. He chuckled

- Nehh don't worry, everything is going to be fine, we'll call each other and stuff. Everyone is going to miss you here. They all insisted to see you today!

- Well, not everyone but it's okay. I hate goodbyes anyway

- Spencer didn't come heh ?

- She was busy I guess. It's okay i'll just call her or something.

- Toby, you know that she's mad at you right ?

- What ? No. Why ?

- She's mad that you're leaving.

- She gotta be kidding me. She's literally the one who told me to move out of here! Gosh.

- Don't get mad i'm just telling you facts.

- That's so unfair. I move on with my life and I seem like the bad guy ? How is that my fault if she's still single and is still getting stalked by some creepy mystery person ?

- Toby please don't make this something it's no-

- That's it i'm gonna settle this once and for all!
