A birthday always leads to another one

"Really Hanna?" Spencer sighted

"Come on that would mean the world to him if you all came!"

"We never even met him!" Emily exclaimed

"Ok but my mom won't let me go unless you all go with me! Please it's the only moment we'll be alone with Caleb without our parents around"

"So we have to go to a birthday party with you and get bored as fuck so you can sleep with your boyfriend? Do it in the wood it'll be more fun than this"

"Spencer come on! I'm sure there'll be cute guys or girls that Caleb knows from his school. Please!"

"I have tons of exams"
"The swimming meet next week I have to pratique this weekend"
"I have to meet Ezra this weekend I was looking forward to it Hanna!"

"You don't have to drink! Please you just go for an hour and you leave. If you do it I'll do anything to pay you back" she sounded desperate

"You know what?" Spencer gave up "I'll go if that's important for you"

"Yeah me too... But only for a few hours" the others added

The Birthday Party that Hanna was talking about was Caleb's.
Caleb is her new boyfriend. She met him at one of Emily's swimming meet when his school came to Rosewood High. He's a year older and she didn't get to see him a lot.
Aria was secretly seeing her english teacher and she had trouble seing him as well.
Emily and Spencer were single and were not especially looking for relationships unlike Hanna. Every person they got together with ended up being bitches or jerks so they gave up and focused on school and other stuff non love related.

The night of the party arrived quickly and Spencer's crappy day made her forget she actually had to go out that night.
She sat on the couch and turned on the TV with a bowl of crips in her hands making herself confortable and relaxed.
She heard multiple knocks on the door and slowly went to open the door.
It was Hanna, all dressed up and excited with Emily and Aria behind her.

"What are you doing here exactly?" She laughed

"Hum, party maybe?" Hanna reminded her

"Hum yeah sorry. I'm ready let me get my phone"

"You're gonna wear this?" Hanna asked

Spencer looked at herself. She was in the same outfit she wore all day. White shirt with a hole in the back and a pair of jeans.

"Guess I am. Let's go now" she tried not to sound annoyed.

They arrived to Caleb's at 8.30 and lots of people they didn't know were all dancing around and drinking: a normal party you'd say.
Hanna disappeared the second she saw Caleb and the other three looked at each other with a bored face

"I think I'm just gonna drink until I find this party cool"

"I can't drink Ezra is suppose to get me in like an hour for our date"

"Wow fancy" Emily said "But I'm gonna follow Spencer's lead and drink until it gets cool"

"Well, guess I'll see you all on Monday then. Say bye to Hanna for me if you see her"

"She's probably with that Caleb guy anyway i don't think she'll notice you're gone"

"Sure thing" she smiled before hugging them and leaving.
