Hello everyone. After being gone for a LONG time and having ZERO prompts finished, I've decided to do the 30 kisses challenge (like my dear ashadymotel here) but instead of doing the "happy endings" theme (that I'll end up doing eventually), I'm gonna try to do the proposal theme. So instead of making one big shot, I'll make 30 not so long ones. Hope this will be worth the wait (for those who stayed) and don't forget to leave feedback :) Enjoy

«You have a point there Field. Ok. Guess I'll head home but promise me you'll be distracting her until I call you»
«Just go!» Emily said laughing

Three hours later, everything was ready: the candles and her favorite dishes on the table along with some smooth music. He didn't want her to predict it so he stayed in a casual outfit and waited for her to arrive. He was so nervous, more nervous than ever actually. He kept checking in his pocket to see if the ring was still there, he was shaking and doubting. And that intensified when Spencer opened the door.
«Aww you made dinner? Thank you!» she said smiling and putting her shopping bags on the floor «I don't know what Emily had today but we just went through the whole town, shopping.»
«It's hum. Okay.» he said not looking at her directly «How about we just eat?»
«Sure» she said in a worried tone
They ate in silence. Toby hated this but he couldn't manage to talk or even look at her, he was afraid to ruin the surprise. But after 20 minutes of this awkward dinner, he looked at her and asked hesitantly «Can I- Can I ask you a question»
«Of course sweetie»
«I hum. I was wondering. What's your shoe size?» he said panicking
«What?»
«No- Nothing sorry» he tried to change back the subject.
«Toby what's going on?» she said with concern «Are you okay?»
«Spence I- I'm sorry» he said getting up and going into their rooms
«Toby talk to me!»
He was shaking and totally freaking out. But Spencer thought that was for something different
«What is happening to you?»
«I want to do something but I'm afraid!»
«Oh my god» she said putting her hands in one, trying not to cry
«You're breaking up with me aren't you?!»
«What?! What no!»
«Yes you are! The candles and everything. That's to make it easier! I-»
«Spencer sit down for a minute!»he yelled getting up «I'm not breaking up! I'm so not breaking up with you! I was just so nervous because of this» he said showing the ring
