You and Archie have been together for four months. Ever since you two became a thing, you couldn't have asked for anyone better. With Archie, you were able to be yourself as you tend to smile and laugh. Everyone at Riverdale could see the love between the both of you, including your parents. The both of you have been inseparable since you were children, and your bond became even stronger once you started going to Riverdale. One night, Archie invited you over to his house to play a few tunes for you on his guitar. After he played, he smiled at you when putting his guitar to the side. "What do you think, Jordan? Was it good?" he asked. You couldn't help but smile. "It was beautiful, Archie," you said. His lips curled into a wider smile. After moments of silence, you look at him with concern.

"Archie? Archie, are you alright?"

His eyes met with yours as a nervous expression was plastered on his face. "I, uh... I have to tell you something," Archie said. "Okay," you said softly with a nod. He took a deep breath.

"Jordan, I love you."

When you heard those words, you couldn't help but look at him with love and awe. A tint of red was plastered on your cheeks as you smiled. "I love you, too, Archie," you softly said in reply. You both softly kissed after moments of comfortable silence between the both of you. A few days have gone by, and school was back in session after a long weekend. It was around lunchtime, and Archie wanted you to meet him by the music room. When you got there, the unthinkable happened. As you peered in the doorway, you saw Archie kissing Miss Grundy, the music teacher. This made your smile turn into a frown as your heart shattered into millions of pieces.

"A-Archie?"

Once he heard you calling his name, he stopped and looked at you as the sign of regret was plastered on his face. "Jordan, this isn't what it looks like," he said. Miss Grundy turned away as tears started to form.

"I think it is EXACTLY what it looks like."

As you walked to lunch, Archie started to run after you. Once he caught up to you, he touched your arm slightly. "Jordan, I'm really REALLY sorry. I can explain," he said. "Sorry? Archie, you kissed a teacher—A TEACHER—a few days after you told me you loved me. It didn't look like you were sorry when you were kissing Miss Grundy, so what's there to explain?" you asked. As you started walking away, Archie kept calling your name as tears went down your cheeks. That's when you decided that you and Archie should take a break.
