Oh no... I thought, What am I supposed to do? part of me was telling me to kill him and move on, but I was scared I would miss, and make him kill me instead, and I was more than sure that he wouldn't miss. But then again, he would kill me anyway, right? So I had nothing to lose. I aimed at his chest. He did the same thing, and smiled. Yupp, he was going to kill me. Damn it damn it damn it. Once again, I experienced being frozen, unable to do anything. What the hell!? Do something! Let it go! At least you'll have a chance of the arrow killing him! Now! I couldn't... and there I was, frozen; having the perfect aim yet not putting it to use. He seemed to notice this, and didn't shoot either. Instead, he smiled once again, turned around, ducked and as he took something that looked like a knife out of his pocked and threw it, the death announcer went off, and I realized, already pale, I was his next victim. I was dead.
Next thing I knew, he was off running. Why isn't he killing me? And just like every other question I asked during the past day, the answer was clear when I heard screaming and shrieking. Other players were coming this way. But who could be dangerous enough to make the guy who killed practically everyone who was dead run away? I didn't know, and decided that before I saw the answer, I would hide behind anything I could find. So I hid behind some bushes to my right. I didn't look around, I just kept my eyes on the person who had made Parker--I think that was his name-- run away. Oh I thought to myself as the view became clearer. There was more than one person. There were about five of them. All dressed in suits and carrying axes and weapons. I almost screamed as a girl, a couple of years younger than me, made the mistake of peeking from behind a tree, the action followed by another girl--from the group and about my age-- without even looking her way got an axe out and threw it, making the little girl cry out in pain as her head fell off of her body and the death announcer went off. "The only team ruthless enough to kill without thinking--act without compassion or pity..." a voice from behind me said, "They even scare killer guy away..." As usual, I panicked. I turned my head slowly to reveal a green eyed girl, her black hair perfectly tied up in a ponytail and her gaze focused on the ruthless group. "Adriana." She said, not looking at me. Oh. Another ally. I hope this one doesn't leave. "Valentina..." I said, my voice low but firm. She smiled, "Next time you should see who's in the bushes... lucky you it was me," she said, her eyes still focused on the team, "We have to find Angel." I agreed, nodding, but said, "What about Nicole?" this time she locked eyes with me. "Did you know her?" she asked, her tone concerned, "No... I mean, not that well... I saw her once, not for a long time but she seemed like a nice person." And it was true. Despite the fact that she killed Iyan, I knew she could be a great person. I started to rethink the idea of killing her... "Oh." she immediately looked away, her look concerned, "Why?" I asked, starting to get suspicious, did something happen to her? I hope not.... she answered after a couple of seconds, not looking at me, but looking down, "You didn't know?" she asked, and after noticing my puzzled face, continued..."Nicole died Val.... Nicole's dead." My face went pale. And the words replayed in my head, Nicole is dead. Nicole is dead.
