(Guys this is a pretty long chapter, so... yeah..... for all of you who wanted longer chapters! Mwah! :) <3)

** PARKER'S POV **

Kristen, that's your ally, now this is the goal,  I thought as I made my way through some dead bodies and blood. Solve puzzles and get to new ones. I let myself believe I had to go through the first door that came into view. Oh, right, weapons. I made my way back again, this time faster. Before I got to the weapons I saw a girl with her suit labeled "Kristen." I looked at her, wide eyed. "Ew, brush your teeth!" she said to a boy who was running towards her with gritted teeth, "Ugh, you're nasty, but you remind me of like one of those idiots in that movie... what was it called?" she seemed to be thinking, and I rolled my eyes as I made my way over to her, holding an axe on my hand, she continued, "Oh yeah! Was it Nemo? No no... I think it was! Oh yeah! No...no... I could swear I saw it at Walmart once...or was it at Publix? Now you made me forget! Ugh!" the guy was basically on her when I kicked him and grabbed Kristen's arm, practically dragging her with me, and like an idiot, she kept talking, "No... no yea it was totally at Walmart..." as I carried her someone threw a disc at my left foot and I fell, sweating as a sharp cry escaped my throat. It was Kevin. Shit. I had to keep walking, but I didn't know how. And it seemed like the world was playing a huge prank on me, like I couldn't believe Kristen was still talking about how things were cheaper at the dollar store and that Catching Fire sucked because it wasn't even realistic. I felt jealous for a second when the thought occurred to me that she knew more about her past than I did about my own. My foot was starting to hurt, and as if by joke the guy threw another one at my arm, clearly aiming at my chest and missing. "Shit!" I screamed. The other girl, what was her name? Well the blonde one was running my way. I think she had a thing for bows and arrows because she seemed to always have one with her. What was she doing? Oh no. I'm dead. I'm dead I'm dead I'm dead. And as the guy was going to throw another disc at me, she threatened to kill him by aiming at his chest with her bow, and he just ran away. She came over here and with great quickness moved some hair from her face as she picked me up and told Kristen to come. All I knew was that she left me in a darker room and gave Kristen something, then said she had to leave. She glanced at me one more time, as if apologizing and then ran the other way. And I just sat there, my arm and leg aching with Kristen by my side, I literally thought I would die right there right then. "Kristen, Go! I'm dead and you need to leave!" Kristen stopped her stupid talk about stores and looked at me, puzzled. "Uh, no thanks, I'm your ally and also that blonde told me to stay here and that she would be right back... so... yea..." and I wasn't really surprised when she resumed her store talk, so I just closed my eyes, feeling the deep cuts the metal was causing, listening to every word she said and ignoring it. I was going to die. I knew it. I knew it. And I didn't know who that girl was, but I was somehow scared of her... or maybe I was just scared of myself? I didn't know... I really didn't...

 ** VALENTINA'S POV **

I'm sorry, ok!? But just looking at him, ugh, I felt bad, I just  felt bad, I swear! I"ll just help him and leave, forever. Please Val... I asked my other self as I was running to get Adriana. I found her earlier than I was expecting, and before giving her a chance to say something, anything at all, I just grabbed her and said, "Ok, everyone's teaming up with other teams, look at the leadership group and allies board." I said, and pointed at the roof of the massive maze, it showed everyone's names and who their allies were, "Yeah, so?" I was grateful she didn't ask any questions or hesitate to come with me. I just looked her at her and said, "we need to help him," as I pointed towards Parker. He laid there, and after she gave me a disapproving look, I gave her the best puppy face I could manage to form and walked over to him and needled down, "Hey, hey, killer dude, wake up." His eyelashes fluttered for a second and he jumped a little, clearly alarmed, "Aagh!" he gasped, and I looked at his bloody arm and leg. His arm? I hadn't noticed that. "Oh my god." I was scared. How were we supposed to move on with him--with this--with....them!? Well we couldn't leave them here. We just couldn't. "It's ok." he said, "leave. Now." His tone was insisting, but I knew he didn't mean it, did he? "No." I said firmly, "I--we're not leaving you here, you guys will be dead in matter of seconds if we leave you here...like this..." I moved my hands dramatically up and down, referring to his injured arm and leg. "And that..." I added, pointing at Kristen's head. "What?! I don't have any injuries on my head!!!" she complained, "Yeah....yea not physically... " I explained, nodding my head slowly. "OH! Yeah people ask me if my mom dropped me when I was little.... I think she did...there's actually a story behind it..." and she started telling us her story while I slowly removed the disc from parker's arm and he removed the one in his foot. Literally in. After about thirty minutes of grunting and blood and old, boring stories, we were done. I checked in my bag for another pack of ice, maybe they had it in here, too. Unluckily, they didn't. But they did put this sort of green cream in here and some leaves, so I thought I would give it a try, "Don't scream..." I warned Parker, "They could hear you... ok?" he nodded, clearly scared and in pain. "I'll try to make it... not hurt... I promise," and with that, I got a tiny bit of the green cream and patted it onto his injury, I could tell he tensed and then sucked in a sharp breath, but luckily he didn't scream, that would've been a mess. "Thank you," I whispered. As I placed a leaf on top of the healing cream, I heard someone scream, the same person who had screamed before, I assumed. I didn't move and quietly instructed the others to do so, too. The only one who was having trouble with it seemed to be Parker, who was breathing heavily. It must hurt, ouch. "It's okay, they can't see us..." I tried to calm everyone down, including myself. Seconds later, we heard a voice-- at least I did... "No one this time." Said the same girl who had screamed, "No one fell for it, so this room is clear, let's go." and with that, we started to hear footsteps, the sound of them decreasing every second we stood, our mouths closed and our breathing heavy, noticing we had discovered and avoided a trap. Traps, people dying, allies betraying, terrified sobs, impossible puzzles awaiting, and we were barely thirty minutes into the game... The real thing was bad...and it was coming...it was coming...
