JAREL's POV

Getting to know a person like him is far from my imagination. No. I never thought I'd personally meet any of the Infinite member for that matter. Never. They are more popular than K-Pop idols in our school. And he is Lee Sungyeol for shouting out loud!

"Jaja!" My bestfriend Corine came in rushing, her aura tells me something good has happened.

"Hey hey! Slow down.." I blocked her way, sacrificing my own body to catch her whole weight just to prevent her from rummaging the papers on my study table. Yeah, we share one condo unit and split the bills. We are basically sisters. But I love my feasibility project more. "Breath Coco.."

She did as told, then slowly, she shared the good news, at least for her.

"You know what? Sungyeol Oppa smiled at me in the hallway. I mean, ehhhhhhh!" She screamed, almost breaking my eardrums. "He even waved his hand to me, with my classmates looking. O.M.G. I'm gonna die.. I'm gonna die.."

Shaking my head in disbelief, I stood up and took a bottle of cold water from my mini fridge and stuffed it in her chest. "Drink this and calm down girl. You have a major exam tomorrow right?"

"Molla molla!" She jumped up and down in my bed, causing an eeking sound made by the springs beneath my bed. "His smile is enough for me to last a lifetime. To hell with exams!" She sat dreamily in my bed while smiling like an idiot.

Corine.. She is my bestfriend. She'd been fangirling over him since 6 years ago. All those years, she had been so constant on wishing that Sungyeol and her would end up together one day.

I sighed while flipping the pages of my book although nothing really registers in my brain. This budding feeling, I need to suppress it. This is not right.

Ending it with another sigh, I finally gave up pretending that I'm still studying. Now, my mind is pre-occupied.

"Do you want to grab snacks?" Sitting on my bed, I asked Coco who is still in her fantasy land.

"Park?" She answered me with another question.

We both beamed, jumping up and down in my bed, with our hands clasped with each other. This is us. We can be happy with simple things.

"Fish cakes! Woahhh!" My eyes are bulging and my intestines are growling at the mere sight of the food.

Corine dragged me to the stall selling fish cakes. "Because I'm happy today, eat all you want. My treat."

"For real?!" My eyes have opened wider than the usual.

"Yeah.. You can eat anything you want. Let's eat like there's no tomorrow." She said then giggled.

"Okay." I grabbed one stick of fish cake and stuffed it directly to my mouth, forgetting that it is hot. When I tried to speak, smoke came out of my mouth. But who cares? Food is life.

I reached for another stick when another hand also grabbed the stick I'm reaching for. Ending is, that person's hand is now wrapped into mine.

"Choi Jarel?" Ugh.. That familiar voice of the person I'm trying to get out of my head now. Someone please tell me I'm just imagining things.

I gave him an awkward smile before looking at Coco who is technically drooling over the man of her dreams standing right between me and her. Lee Sungyeol.

"Oppaaaa.." Corine immediately clung into Sungyeol's arm out of excitement.

Startled at Corine's sudden action, Sungyeol took two steps backward. "Corine hi!"
