I leaned my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, smiling. His arms wrapped around me, pulling me as close as possible. Sure, we were supposed to be looking over our project and fixing little mistakes but I got distracted by the cute boy with some tattoos and hints of blue in his hair on my bed humming to himself. I placed a tender kiss on his cheek, then rested my head on his forehead and looked into his Caribbean eyes. I wanted to swim in them forever, losing myself along the way. If looks could kill, he'd be a death trap.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He asked, gently grabbing my hands.

   "You," I answered, smiling shyly.

He chuckled and closed his eyes. My heart melted then and there. I loved that laugh, how deep it was. I loved how when he laughed his tongue would peek out between his teeth.

"Phil?" I shyly called his name.

"Yes?" He opened his eyes. "What's wrong?"

I leaned in, pressing my lips to his. My emotions overtook me, and I didn't know why. This kiss wasn't like the others. It wasn't sexual, laced with playfulness nor was it a simple quick kiss on the lips. This was different, I never felt this before. It was slow, and filled with passion, want, and need. I held his face in my hands and moved closer to him, if that was even possible.

   "Dan.." He whispered. "I understand."

Did he? Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. I simply nodded, and connected our lips again. It'd be cliche to say it started raining. But I lived in London, it was always raining. That evening Phil stayed over for dinner, then sadly had to leave. I was still feeling that emotion inside me, but didn't understand what it was.

"Are you okay?" Camille asked. "You've been acting weird, at least you were at dinner." I looked at her, and shook my head.

"No." I answered. "I don't know what's wrong with me.."

"Explain the feeling." She said softly, handing me a small throw blanket to cover up with. I leaned back into the sofa and sighed, looking around the room.

"It's like... Here lately when I'm with him I become overwhelmed. I need him, I want to hug and kiss him, how him how much I love-"

   I paused.

Camille's once concerned face turned into a smile.

"I love him..?" I smiled shyly, looking at her. "I.."

"Dan!" She squealed. "Go and tell him right now!"

"Really?" I smiled, standing up. "How do I look?"

   "Beautiful." She answered. "Now go."

I did. I marched over to his house, and knocked on the door. Martyn answered, and smiled at me. He told me Phil was upstairs in his room. Before I knocked on Phil's room, I heard him talking.

He chuckled. "This isn't funny anymore!"

"Then why did you laugh!" I recognized the other voice, Chris. "You better finish this before he leaves for his nerd camp.. I've already done my bet in like a week."

"I'm..." Phil sighed, "I don't know about this anymore, you know?"

   "What are you looking at?"

"He's usually on his room right now.." Phil said. "Around this time he's dancing around, painting his art wall. It's cute to watch him."

"Are you actually falling for him?" Chris laughed. "Dude no. The bet was for him to fall for you!"

"Oh shut up.." Phil chuckled. "I gotta go. Call me tomorrow."

I dug my palms into my eyes, wiping away tears. A door behind me opened. "Dan? You okay love?" Angelina. I turned and hugged her tightly, sobbing. Music began to play from Phil's room, he didn't hear me. Good.

   "I.." I hiccuped. "I can't.."

   "What?" She asked.

   Phil's door opened.

He smiled for a split second, it quickly faded. "Dan whats wrong?"

"You!" I screamed. "I was just a little game for you! Well you fucking won, Phil! I came to tell you I loved you!"

"Dan?" He titled his head. "Dan?"

"That's all you have to say?" I whispered.

"Dan.. Dan!" Phil shook me awake. I sat up, looking at him. "Dan you were crying in your sleep, what's wrong?" He pulled me into a hug.

"I.. I went over to your house and... Told you I love you.. You.. You..." I sobbed. "You made a bet on me.."

"Dan I'd never do that, okay?" He whispered into my ear, rubbing my back. "That's way too fucked up."

"Phil.." I looked at him, still crying. "I love you."

He wiped away my tear stained face, and smiled.

   "I love you too, Dan."
