6 months later...
I scrolled through Twitter on my phone, liking a few tweets from different people congratulating me on my first blog post. It made me feel happy that people were enjoying what I had to say about being on the road with my father from such a young age but it also made me feel happy that me writing this 'tell all' blog post meant that I wasn't asked as many annoying questions from the press.
The lock on the door clicks and I sit up on the sofa, anticipating the blonde boy bouncing through the door at any moment.
"Hey baby." I hear him yell from the hall and I grin before locking my phone, he opens the door and drops his black jacket on the arm of the chair before plopping down beside me and wrapping his arm around my waist and laying his head against my shoulder, I lean down and kiss the top of his head as I take in the smell of his hair.
"How was recording?" I ask him and he nods his head against my shoulder
"It was really good actually, your dad and Michael finished that song they had been going on about for ages." Luke informs me and I smile
"Really? Did you hear it? Is it good?" I ask excitedly and Luke nods once more before sitting up
"Yeah it's a lot like the old stuff." I smile in understanding "However, I have been seeing on Twitter lots of congratulations for your blog post..." Luke says and I nod
"Yeah, thanks to you." I laugh "No one would have cared but you just had to go make a big deal out of it." I tell him "Everyone go read my lovely girlfriend's new blog post and be nice." I pause "Why did you have to say that?" I laugh
"Because you always support me in everything I do so I wanted to support you." He laughs before leaning in closer to me and I start moving in too, pressing my lips against his and smiling.
"I'm going to go get a drink, do you want one?" Luke asks as he pulls away and I nod, sitting back on the sofa in my original comfy position.
I was so happy that my dad and the others had warmed up to the idea of Luke and I being together, well warmed up enough to make another album and to not hate both of our guts. Josh seemed fine with it too when I told him what was happening all those months ago. He eventually had to go back to England because of commitments and whatnot but we still regularly FaceTimed and talked to each other on the phone.
Two people who had not warmed up to the idea however where Chrissy and Matt. I still talked to Matt but it wasn't the same, he would always try and get me to come over to his, he would talk to me about all the girls he had recently been with and all it seemed he cared about anymore was being with girls and getting drunk. Chrissy on the other hand didn't talk to me at all, every once in a while Luke would get a text from her telling him when the next baby scan was and he would go and come back with the biggest smile on his face because of his baby but would also have too many stories about how Chrissy tried to kiss him. I mean, of course that annoyed me but I had enough trust in Luke to know that he wasn't going to do anything he wouldn't want me doing.
"Here princess." Luke says as he comes back through the door again handing me a lemonade, I take a sip and set it on one of the coasters on the coffee table in front of me.
"Have you eaten?" I ask Luke and he nods, turning to face me
"Did you? I could go make you something if you wanted..." I shake my head
"I had a big lunch earlier with Stella and Rosie."
"Oh, how are they?"
"They're both fine, I'm babysitting Rosie in a couple of days though whilst Stella and Logan try and find a wedding venue." I tell Luke and nods, pulling out his phone as it starts vibrating.
