Five years later...
"Evie! You're walking!" I exclaim, the little girl comes waddling towards me, arms raised and hands opening and closing with excitement.
When she reaches me I pick her up and rest her on my hip
"When did this happen? When did she get so big?" I question as Michael comes through the front door, one suitcase in each hand.
He sighs as he sets them down and grins triumphantly as Sophia follows behind.
"She... she started walking last week..." Michael breathes out and I smile at Sophia before looking at Evie.
"Last week?" I say happily, spinning around with her in my arms and laughing myself when she erupts into a fit of giggles.
"Last week. Just in time for mommy and daddy's first anniversary." Sophia says as she comes towards us, she tickles under Evie's chin.
"Oh my god, that's right! You guys have been married for a year already. Congrats!" I say before moving into the kitchen.
"Thanks Aria." Michael says as he puts his arm around me.
"So is she walking earlier than most babies then?" I ask and Sophia shrugs
"She's nine months and most babies start walking after their first birthday but I mean every baby is different I suppose." Sophia says and I nod
"So are the others here yet?" Michael asks and I set Evie onto the ground so she can play.
"Uh, dad and Nick are down at the lake with Calum and Jaxon but Chrissy's coming to get Jaxon in two days because of the whole custody thing. Carly is upstairs unpacking and I've just been down here unpacking everything." I laugh and Michael nods
"This place looks massive. How did your dad even find a cabin so big?" Michael asks as he walks towards the window above the sink and I shrug.
"I think Carly found it but dad's been taking credit for it." I tell him
"It won't be long now until the big day." Sophia says and I smile.
"Twelve days and counting." Carly says as she enters the room, she places her hand on my back and I smile at her as she walks towards Sophia and Michael to give them a hug.
I turn my attention back to taking all of the food we had brought to the cabin out of their bags and placing things into different cupboards, thinking nervously about what was going to be happening tonight. I had told everyone that Nick and I would cook dinner since it was the first night of our vacation and I was still trying to figure out what I was going to make. But that's not what I was nervous about.
"Yo... Jax how's it going?" Michael says loudly as the four year old comes running into the kitchen, he holds out the toy car he has in his hands before racing it over the floor towards Michael.
"Where's the rest of the boys?" Carly asks and Jaxon stands up again
"I told them I would race them but they're too slow." He says with a laugh and I can't help but laugh too.
Jaxon was adorable, he looked nothing like Chrissy which made it even easier to like him and because Calum had primary care he hadn't been around Chrissy too much to pick up on her bad personality traits.
"Aria, can I have a drink please?" Jaxon asks me and I nod my head before lifting a pouch of juice out of the fridge and handing it to him "Thank you."
"No problem buddy." I say with a smile as he turns to go find his toys.
"I'm gonna go play outside again dad is that okay?" Jaxon asks as Calum enters the room, followed by my father and my fiancé.
