Chapter four

Hello hello I know you all missed me! Haha just kidding. Here with another update for you guys. There was much rejoicing!

Hunk's POV

Well, I feel like my life's work is done. I have helped my best friend find his soulmate, and there is nothing else I need to do with my life. It is complete. But, for real, it was so cute when Yuuri saw Viktor. I was fangirling so hard, I ship it so much it needs to happen right now. But, enough from me back to Yuuri.

Yuuri's POV

When I get home, I immediately plop down on my bed and run my hand over my face. Well, today was rather eventful. I went on a walk and ended up meeting my soulmate. I feel my phone vibrate, and I pull it out of my pocket. On my phone I see a new notification from an unrecognizable number. I tap it, and I see a text come up on my screen.

375-836-8362: Hey, Yuuri. Its me, your soulmate.

I save his number in my phone under his name so I know who he is from now on. I quickly text back.

Yuuri: Hi, Viktor. Long time no see.

Viktor: You wanna go out tonight?

Yuuri: That was a bit sudden, but sure. When do you wanna meet up?

Viktor: How does 7:00 sound?

Yuuri: Great! I'll see you later.

I check the time, and see that it is about 6:00. I turn my phone off, and throw it down on my bed. Okay, I have an hour to get ready. I should probably take a shower. I go into the bathroom, and turn the water on, making sure it was warm, but not too hot.

I strip out of all of my clothes, and step under the steady stream of water. As I stand there, I think about my upcoming date with Viktor. What if I embarrass myself? What if he leaves me because I'm too awkward and anxious all of the time?

I wash my hair and body, and step out of the shower. I quickly dry off and put a new outfit on. I check the time and see that it is now 6:46. Uh, still, like, fifteen minutes until my date. Maybe I should go on a walk to pass the time.

I turn the doorknob and open the door, closing it and locking it on my way out. While I walk down the sidewalk, I stare at my feet, watching as I put one in front of the other one. I sigh, and turn my face up to the sky. I scan the clouds, and suddenly I see... Crap. No, not tonight. I'm supposed to meet Viktor in the park for a date. Ugh, why does the world hate me. I pull out my phone and quickly dial Hunk's number. He answers after the third ring.

"Hey, Yuuri. What's up? You don't usually call me unless something is wrong."

"Hunk, we need to get the group together, they will be out tonight."

"W-what? How? They were out a few days ago. Why would they come out tonight?"

"I don't know why but I know they will be out tonight, so gather up the group and stay safe"

"Okay, Yuuri. I will be very careful. You have my word. I'll see you tonight."

He hangs up on me,and I stuff my phone back into my pocket. Ugh, why did this have to happen today? I can't go to the date because my friends need my help, but if I ditch the date Viktor will probably think that I hate him or something.

I pull my phone out and shoot a quick text to Viktor, telling him. I don't fell well and that I can't come to the date tonight. He sends me a reply a few seconds later.

Viktor: Awe, I'm sorry that you don't feel well. Maybe we can go out tomorrow, eh?😘😘

Yuuri: Yeah, hopefully. See ya!💕

Before I put my phone away, I quickly check the time. 6:52. I start to head home, to gear up for tonight.

Viktor's POV

I was so excited for my date with Yuuri! I just couldn't wait, so I went to the park 15 minutes early. I knew that Yuuri wouldn't show up for another 15 minutes, but I still anxiously looked around for him.

I felt my phone rumble, so I dug it out of my pocket. Yay! Its a text from my Yuuri! I look at the screen, and I am immediately filled with sadness. He...he's not coming tonight? Is he actually sick, or doesn't he like me?

I text him back, saying that I hope he starts feeling better and that maybe we should hang out tomorrow instead. In a few seconds I get his reply and breathe a sigh of relief. Good, he still wants to go on a date with me. Maybe since he's not feeling well I should stop by his house to make sure he's alright. I decide to stay at the park until 8:30, then I, will head to Yuuri's house.

Alright, another chapter done foyer much procrastination. Hey, if y'all don't know where this is going, you're in for a treat(kind of sort of). Guess what story I might be referencing in the comments. Again, if you know don't spoil anything. That means you Patrick and maybe even you Snape. This chapter was shorter but I can't make all of them longer. Bye fam. Stay sad,  but not too sad!
