Chapter nineteen

Hello Hello! I finally got some time to update my story. On to the story!

Viktor's POV

I sit on the couch with Yuuri, my face completely red. I look at him, his eyes shut with a content look on his face. I pull him closer and bury my hot face into the crook of his neck. He stirs slightly and grabs one of my hands and squeezes it. He starts to wiggle around, so I loosen my grip. he turns to face me, and I try to hide my burning face from him, but fail completely. Giggles cascade from his mouth, turning my face even more red.

Moving his hands up to behind my neck, he pulls me close and gives me a peck on the lips. When he stands up, he arches his back, stretching out his stiff muscles. He walks to the kitchen and I look at the clock in confusion. Oh my goodness, it's already time for supper! I scramble off of the couch and follow him to the kitchen, curious about what Yuuri will make for dinner. From the kitchen, I hear a faint song drifting through the air.

I walk out to the kitchen and see Yuuri standing at the stove, making katsudon, while singing softly. His voice, it's so......pretty. He doesn't notice me, so I stand it the doorway and listen to his beautiful voice. From where I'm standing, I can hear the song he's singing. 

"There used to be a graying tower alone on the sea

You became the light on the dark side of me

Love remained, the drug thats the high and not the pill

But did you know, that when it snows

My eyes become large and

The light that you shine can be seen."

"That was beautiful, Yuuri." I say, and he turns to look at me, red faced. I walk over and give him a hug, kissing the side of his jaw. He hugs me tightly back and buries his head in the crook of my neck, mumbling something too quiet for me to hear. "What did you say, Yuuri?" He lifts his head to look at me.

"No, it wasn't beautiful, it was terrible. I really like to sing, but I'm horrid at it." His face turns red, and I playfully gasp.

"Wow, Yuuri is actually blushing!? How did that happen?" I grin at him and he playfully punches my arm. He turns back to the stove to finish making the katsudon. I hug him from behind and put my mouth right next to his ear and whispered, "Your so perfect, Yuuri." He just blushes lightly and shakes his head, pulling the katsudon off the stove. He takes the katsudon and two bowls to the table. 

"Viktor, we're going to Slayer Base tomorrow, you still need to start your zombie fighting training." I nod my head and dig into the bowl of katsudon, trying, and failing, to savor it and eat it slowly. I look up and see Yuuri smiling lovingly at me. "I'm really glad your my soulmate, Viktor. I couldn't have asked for a better one, truly." My face heats up, and I walk over to him and give him a hug. When I pull away he has tears in his eyes, and I kneel in front of him, wiping them away (I need to stop this. please help me stop).

"Yuuri, what's wrong? Did I say something wrong, do something wrong?" All he does is laugh and cup my face in his hands. He starts to pepper my face with kisses, smiling at me in between. He stops kissing me and looks at me. Moving his hands to the back of my neck, he presses our foreheads together.

"You didn't do anything wrong, my love. I just..." he pauses and smiles at me. "I just love you so much. Anybody else probably would have left by now. But, you've stayed with me through it all. And I love you so much." He looks at the clock, and stands up suddenly. "We should go to sleep, even though it's pretty early. You'll need a lot of energy for tomorrow." We get ready to go to sleep and curl up in bed with each other.

I feel someone shaking me awake and I open my eyes to see Yuuri holding a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon for me. He smiles at me as I take the plate from him and scarf it down. After I get some workout clothes on, we leave to head to Slayer Base. When we arrive at the Base, everybody rushes towards us and fusses over us, asking us how we are and if we are okay. Yuuri waves them away and brings me to an empty place in the Base.

"Okay Viktor." He turns to me and looks at me. "As you know, to fight the zombies you must be in spirit form. So, " he looks me up and down one last time before smirking at me and saying, "step out of your body." I look at him in confusion, and his smirk gets larger. "Go on, " he says, "step out of your body."

"But I don't know how to." I say, making Yuuri laugh at me. 

"If you don't, " he says walking closer, " I'll grab you and bite you. Just like a zombie would." He looks around before looking back to me. "Everybody's watching. You have twenty seconds." I start to panic, and Yuuri starts counting and shambling towards me like a zombie. I close my eyes and imagine my spirit leaving my body. With one final push of faith, my spirit leaves my body.

Immediately, the air becomes frigid, and all of the sounds of the building are amplified, all of the scents are stronger. I look at Yuuri and see him grinning happily. I look back and jump from seeing my body standing behind me. I look back to Yuuri and see his spirit leave his body. He puts his finger to his lips, signaling me not to talk. I watch him, and he brushes his spirit fingers against his real ones, and the two halves of his body join back together. I do the same, and the air becomes warmer and my other senses return back to normal.

I look to him and smile widely, causing him to smile back at me. "Did I do a good job, Yuuri?" He smiles at me and nods his head, causing me to go red faced for some reason.

"Do it again Viktor."

When we get home, I flop down on the couch and sigh. Yuuri come through the door right after me and locks it behind him. "Yuuri." I say, and he turns in my direction and raises his eyebrows. "I did so bad today." I was true. Out of the hours we were practicing, I only managed to leave body four times. He just chuckles at me and sits next to me, rubbing my shoulders.

"No you didn't. Most beginners can barley do it twice. Be proud of yourself." He starts rubbing my back header and I relax against him and sigh in contentment.

Sorry for the shorter chapter. OMG GUYS IM SO HAPPY THANK YOU FOR 1.37K READS! It just makes me so happy. Well, bye fam. Stay sad, but not too sad.
