Hello hello! I'm back with another chapter for you all. Please enjoy it! By the way, don't be fooled by the happy start of the chapter.
Viktor's POV
I lay on the floor, laying down on Yuuri. I keep my head buried in his shoulder until he rubs my back and sits up. I sit up with him but keep my head glued to his shoulder. I clench the back of his shirt in my hands, still crying of happiness.
"Shhh, Vitya are you okay? Did I overwhelm you?" He whispers in my ear, still rubbing my back. I shake my head, wiping my eyes on his shirt. I finally lift my head and our eyes meet, and I smile widely at him. Yuuri takes my red, tear-streaked face in his hands and caresses my cheeks with his thumbs. My heart beats a thousand miles a minute, and I giggle and press our foreheads together.
I transfer all of my weight to Yuuri, knocking us both to the ground. I flip us over on the ground until Yuuri is on top of me. I wrap my arms around the back of his neck and pull him closer to me. I giggle at him again, tears of happiness still trailing steadily down my cheeks. My beautiful soulmate leans in and rubs our noses together. Yuuri grabs my hand from his neck and laces our fingers, pressing our soulmarks together.
Happiness courses steadily through my body, and I bask in the warmth of Yuuri on top of me. I bury my free hand into his soft, ebony hair. I keep my hand entwined with Yuuri's, not wanting to ever let go. I feel Yuuri's weight shift, moving to get off of me. I pull him back down and shake my head at him.
"Vitya, I'm going to crush you if we stay here much longer." Yuuri whispers, pressing our foreheads together again.
"No you won't, Yu. Trust me." I whisper, inhaling deeply to inhale his scent of strawberries, and he laughs quietly at me. "What?" I say, closing my eyes.
"Yu, huh? Is it my new nickname?" He says, giggling at the end of his sentence.
"Well, you have a cute nickname for me. I thought it was about time that you got your own." I say in defense. He giggles quietly at me, making me blush. I feel his lips press onto both of my eyelids, so I open them to see Yuuri smiling down at me.
"There they are. Those beautiful cerulean blue eyes that I have grown love. You really are beautiful." My face heats up from his words, and he just smiles at me. I pull my hand away from his, burying it in his hair with my other hand. His rough, calloused hands rest on my cheeks, and his thumbs caress my cheeks.
His lips slowly find mine, and warmth spreads through my chest. The warmth of his lips on mine, the scent of strawberries, the feel of his hands on my face overload my senses. I lose all sense of my surroundings, and I pull him closer to me, my finger grasping at his soft hair. Our lips dance in unison, and I feel all of the emotions I felt from his singing and paying, but the emotions were so much stronger.
The intensity of the emotions flowed through every inch of my body, and I smiled into the kiss. My body was limp, overwhelmed by all of my senses and the emotions. Yuuri's hand leave my face, and creep up under the hem of my shirt. When his finger make contact with my skin, it sends electric shocks up my torso. I gasp into the kiss, unfamiliar with the feeling of his hands on the skin of my torso.
His hands find their way up to the sides of my torso, and Yuuri rubs them up and down my sides. His touches, light as a feather, make my breath hitch. As his soft touches continue, the kiss slows down. Our heads tilt to the sides, deepening the kiss. Yuuri slowly pulls away, giving me a small peck on the lips before pulling away completely.
He smiles down at me with his swollen lips and tousled hair, and I smile back at him. Yuuri moves to sit beside me, and his arms loop around the back of my knees and the back of my neck. He picks me up and carries me back to the kitchen. Sitting me on the floor, he kisses my forehead and begins to help me make supper.
We move in synch around the kitchen, occasionally giving each other chaste kisses on the cheek. Finishing supper, we get plates of food and sit down at the table across from each other. Our hands find each other on the table, fingers twining together. Yuuri sighs deeply and smiles at me, his contentment evident on his face. He presses our soulmarks together, sending tingles down my arm.
"I love you, Yuuri. I feel like I don't tell you that enough." I look back at him, and I notice something strange. Yuuri isn't smiling anymore, and his bright eyes are dull and unresponsive. Oh crap, is this another one of his visions? Yuuri's muscles go lax, and I dive to catch him before he hits the ground. His body starts to shake, and his face turns fearful. I pull him onto me and rub his back, trying to calm him down.
HIs breathing becomes erratic, and his skin turns a few shades lighter. My heart starts beating quicker and quicker, and I pull Yuuri back to look him in the eyes. As soon as I look him in the eyes, my vision goes dark. As my vision comes back, I'm not in the present, but in the past with Yuuri. I look over to see Yuuri from the present, standing along the edge of the scene, tears forming in his eyes.
I stride over to him, surprising him by taking his hand in mine. "Whatever you have to go through, I'll go through it with you." Yuuri just nods his head and turns back to the scene unfolding in front of us. Yuuri from the past is sitting on the couch, sketching a picture in his sketchbook. Suddenly, Yuuri's dad shoves the door open, slaming it behind him. Yuuri in the past looks up to greet him.
"Hi dad, how was work?" His dad looks at him tiredly, a light sigh escaping through his mouth. His dad grumbles something about incoherently, and plops down into the arm chair. Yuuri looks back down at his sketchbook, continuing the drawing he was working on. After a few minutes of silence, the past Yuuri looked up at his dad and noticed something wrong.
"D-dad? Are you okay?" His dad, still in the chair, had a horrified look on his face. His mouth moved but no sound came out. Yuuri slowly inches toward his dad until black bite marks appear on his neck, which makes Yuuri fall back in shock. I look over at the Yuuri of the present and he has tears streaming down his face. I squeeze his hand tightly and turn back to the scene unfolding in front of us.
Tears form in the past Yuuri's eyes, and suddenly zombies appear in the room. Yuuri's eyes widen in fear, and he scrambles off the floor and runs out the back door away from the zombies. As the past Yuuri runs, the ground we are standing on follows him. He runs and runs until he reaches a place for away, then he breaks down on the ground, curling into a ball and crying. The Yuuri of the present falls to his knees beside me, sobbing into his hands.
I kneel on the ground behind him and pull him into a tight hug. Turning toward me, he wraps his arms around me, crying into my shoulder. I rub his back, attempting to cheer him up a bit. He stars sobbing even harder, when suddenly my vision goes dark. When I wake up, I'm laying on the floor in our dining room. I look over to see Yuuri sprawled out on the floor, tears streaming down his face steadily.
Rushing over to him, I gather him in my arms, pressing kisses on his forehead. "Thank y-you Vitya. That wasn't as bad with you there."
Whoops.
