Hello hello hello. There was much rejoicing. I'm back with another chapter, as you can see.
Yuuri's POV
As I suit up, a million thoughts run through my head. How can they be out tonight? They were out a few days ago, and I thought they needed time to rest in between. You know what, I can't think about that right now, my friends need my help.
I quickly finish suiting up and grab what I need, finding places in my outfit to stash them so they stay out of sight. I step outside, and get into my car. Hopefully they are holding up okay.
Viktor's POV
I wait in the park, forcing myself to wait until 8:30 to go to my precious Yuuri's house. He seemed to be in perfect health when I saw him earlier, but I guess he could have gotten sick in a few hours. It happens to other people all the time. I snap out of my daze, and realize that it is now 8:19. I slip back into my thoughts to pass the time.
When its finally 8:30, I finally get to head over to my darling Yuuri's house. But, there's a tiny problem. I don't exactly know where his house is. I internally facepalm.
I wander through town, until I come across a little restaurant/inn place that looks very cozy. Maybe I can stay here, just for tonight. I open the door, and somewhere above my head I hear a little bell jingle.
I see a head pop up from behind the counter, probably belonging to the owner of the place.
"Ooh, a customer! We haven't gotten many of those today. Here, I'll show you to your table. Right this way."
She winds in and out between obstacles, and takes me to a little table in the back.
"So, what would you like to eat today? Our special today is katsudon."
"I'll have that, it sound delicious. And, may I have some water please?"
"Oh, sure! A katsudon and a water, coming right up! I'll send someone out with your water in a few minutes."
"Thank you very much!" I say with a huge smile on my face as she walks away. As soon as she disappears into the kitchen, a frown starts to tug at the corners of my mouth. Huh, I wonder how Yuuri is doing right now. I hope he's okay.
Someone walks up to my table, sets down a glass of water, and quickly walks away. With the straw, I swirl the ice around in my water. I drift deep into thought, and all of my surroundings fade away. I sigh deeply.
"I wish Yuuri we're here with me right now, we could be getting to know each other." I mumble under my breath, not realizing I am saying anything out loud. I feel a light tap on my shoulder, and I snap out of my thoughts. I turn my head and see the owner standing right next to me.
"Hi, um, I'm sorry and I didn't mean to eavesdrop on you, but I couldn't help but hear that you wish Yuuri were here with you. If you don't mind me asking, do you know what his last name is?"
"Y-yeah. His last name is Katsuki, Yuuri Katsuki. It has a nice ring to it, don't you think? I know you really don't need to know this, but he's my soulmate. I just met him today, but I'm already in love with him."
I look up and see the woman staring at me with a pleased smile on her face.
"Well, in that case," she says, extending her hand to me,"hello, nice to meet you. I'm Hiroko Katsuki, Yuuri's mother. I'm glad he got you as his soulmate, he spent his whole life worrying that his soulmate would hate him. But, clearly you don't hate him, not in the slightest."
I grab her hand and shake it in a quick, firm handshake.
"Do you know where he is? Does he live here with you? Does he help around the restaurant?"
She laughs a little bit, and pats me on the back.
"Ok, hold on. I don't know where exactly he is at this moment, but I think he might be out looking for medicine, he said something about feeling sick."
I sigh, relief filling my body. Okay, so now I know for a fact that he wasn't ditching me. That's good.
"To answer your second question, he does no live in this building with us. But, his house is right next door, so we see him often. And yes, he does help us around here a lot. But sometimes, for some odd reason, he doesn't help for a while, and doesn't come over for a few days either."
"Okay, thank you for answering my questions. Would you mind if I just waited in Yuuri's house for him to come home so I could take care of him? He will probably need some help if he's sick."
"Oh, I don't mind, go right ahead. He might be home really late because he ahs a specific type of medicine he likes, and you have to drive a little while to get it, so he's probably getting some of that. His spare key is under the doormat, by the way."
"Thank you so much for your help, Mrs. Katsuki. I greatly appreciate it."
"Oh, it was no problem. And please, call me Hiroko.
"Okay, thanks again Hiroko!" I shout as I run out the door. I run to the only house right next to the restaurant, and frantically feel for the key under the door mat. I unlock the door, careful to put the key back, and I close the door while searching the wall for the light switch. I find it and flick it on, light immediately illuminating the room in a soft yellow glow.
I take no notice of the room, I just go over to plop down on the couch to wait for Yuuri to come home. I yawn, the tiredness of today finally catching up to me. Maybe I can take a nap here, since Yuuri won't be back for a while. I'm sure he won't mind. I lay my head down on the arm of the couch, and I slowly drift off to sleep.
~~~
The sound of someone running into the door wakes mee from my deep slumber. Ooh, it must be my Yuuri! I look up at the clock, and it says that it is now 1:34 in the morning. I know she said it would take him a little while, but I didn't know she meant this long. I rush over to open the door, and when I do, a very injured Yuuri falls into my arms.
He has a slash running down his arm, his cheek, and his thigh. The blood is soaking his clothing, turning them a, deep red color. He has bruises all over his body, and a few scratches from what seems to be very sharp finger nails.
"Yuuri, oh my goodness! Who did this to you?!?! You need to get to the hospital, like, right now!" He shakes his head, looking up at me with his beautiful brown eyes. He coughs, and begins to stand up.
"N-no Viktor. I don't n-need a h-hospital. I'll b-be fine, really. I just need t-to get to bed. And nobody did this to m-me. I just t-tripped and fell and g-got a few scratches."
He disappears into his room, leaving me sitting in his living room. What are you hiding from me?
Yay, the chapters finally over, is what you guys are all thinking right now. So, what do you think happened to Yuuri? Everybody can answer, besides you Snape, because you know what happened and I don't want anything to be ruined. But thank you all for reading. Stay sad, but not too sad!
