Lorelei's pov

I sat in my desk next to Turner, Cayden, Sutton, and Octavia when the new girl walked in. She came and sat near Cayden. Cayden didn't seem to want anything to do with her. When he ignored her she looked embarrassed. I felt bad for her as she sat there fiddling with her stuff.

"What's your name?" I asked

"Zuri." She smiled shyly

"Zuri, come sit over here." I suggested and she got up and sat in front of me.

"So do you know Cayden?" I asked

"Yeah." She blushed

"Aww somebody's got a crush." Octavia laughed and Zuris face went beet red.

"Leave the poor girl alone." Sutton said

"Trust me you don't want to get involved with Cayden." I stated

"Why not?" She asked

"He's, dangerous." I answered

"Well he was very welcoming." She said a little confused at my statement

"He didn't seem very welcoming just now." Octavia said and Sutton glared at her. Octavia out her hands up in surrender as Zuri looked at the floor.

"I'm sure you'll figure things out on your own." I said as the teacher began the lesson. I kept looking at Cayden. Something about him seemed a little off today, not in a good way.

After class I was walking with Octavia and Sutton when the announcement TVs came on. Crowds of students rand around them so I couldn't see but it sounded like someone was revealing a sex tape. I saw Zuri pushing through the crowds as she ran away crying.

Oh no.

I pushed through the wall of students until I saw Zuri and Cayden having sex in the back of Cayden's car. I turned to see Cayden snickering with another guy on the baseball team.

Hell to the no.

I stormed over to him and looked him dead in the eye and stuck a finger into his chest.

"Why the hell would you do this to the new girl! She did nothing to you! What's your problem!?" I yelled and then all eyes were on me.

"Why do you care Lorelei it's not even your problem." Cayden laughed

"I care because no one deserves this kind of treatment. Especially not her." I stated

"Well Lorelei, I don't give a fuck." Cayden said and walked away. "You're a crazy bitch anyway so why should I listen to you?" He yelled over the crowd of students

"Are you mad at me for rejecting you?" I began to say as I walked towards him.

"Not everything is about you Lorelei." He said then walked out of the school. I turned to see students clapping. Why the hell were they clapping? I didn't really do anything to help the poor girl. Administrators had finally shut off the TVs and ordered students to get to class.

I can't believe Cayden. Why would he do something like that? What did she do to him?
