21:"I can't quit you Lor."

Turner's pov

I hate this party.

It's so boring. All I'm doing is standing by the keg drinking beer and watching Chastity flirt with all the other guys here. I looked down at my costume and shook my head.

I can't believe she talked me into wearing this. I walked out of the kitchen and bumped into a flustered Lorelei. Her makeup looked smeared and her eyes wide.

"Sorry." We said at the same time then I smiled but she looked away.

"Are you ok?" I asked

"Yeah I'm fine." She replied staring at the wall behind me.

"It doesn't look like you are." I said

"Well I am, why don't you go find your girlfriend." She stated angrily and walked off.

"Lorelei wait!" I yelled as I ran after her and eventually caught up to her on the stairs. She walked all the way up ignoring me. She walked into the first room and began to close the door until I stopped it with my hand.

"We need to talk." I stated

"No we don't."

"Yes we do Lorelei."

"Fine." She let me in and we sat on the couch that had a TV in front of it. "What do you want to talk about?" She sighed

"Chastity means nothing to me." I replied

"She obviously means enough to you to be dating her again." She said

"I told you Lorelei it was a dare." I huffed

"Then why are you still with her?" She wondered. I didn't answer, I stood there pondering my next move. "Exactly." She glared then walked away.

"You don't have to be like this Lor." I whined as I grabbed her wrist.

"You didn't have to pull a smash and dash or hump and dump or whatever you want to call it, but you did anyway."

"That's not what it was Lor."

"That's exactly what it was."

"We weren't even together! We were just having sex, I don't understand why you're so upset." I yelled. She stood there tears brimming her eyes.

"Who are you?" She asked disgusted as she ripped her hand away from me. She began to walk away but I grabbed her arm and spun her around. I pressed her against a wall and brought my face close to hers.

"I can't quit you Lor." I mumbled

"You can't just fuck the pain away." She whispered staring deep into my eyes.

"But with skin on skin I feel nothing but the burning of desire." I replied, our faces were centimeters apart and I broke the space by landing my lips on hers. She pushed me away instantly.

"We can't do this." She sighed as she walked away into the crowd of sweaty bodies. I should've chased after her but I just let her slip between my fingers.

"Dude your girl Lorelei, she's fantastic in bed." Cayden laughed obviously drunk. I walked away from him because I can't believe she slept with him as well.

What have I turned her into?

Did I break her?

Lorelei's pov

I had to get away from him. He was breaking my heart the whole time he looked into my eyes and said those things.

How could he just stay with Chastity when he so obviously wants to be with me?

Is there something about me that's unloveable?

Am I not girlfriend material?

Am I just some toy for guys to throw around?

School is gonna be hell next week.
