More Than Just A Baseball Game

26: "It's too late for me."

Lorelei's pov

"Why are we having another party?" I asked as Sutton placed some red solo cups by the keg

"Ariel needs to get out of her funk and socialize and this is the best way to do that." Suzanne responded

"But won't this only remind her of what happened last time?" I wondered

"I try not to think of that." She smiled continuing to set up.

Hours passed and rooms were filling up with teenagers spilling out doorways. I looked around and only noticed a few people. I got some strange looks from some of Chastitys friends and decided I should escape to the upstairs.

As I made my way up the stairs I noticed Turner sitting in Suzanne's playroom alone. It would've been a good idea to avoid him at all cost but I wouldn't be me if I did the right thing.

"Why are you here alone?" I questioned

"Just needed to get away for a bit, you?" He responded

"Same here." I sat on the couch next to him as he shifted away from me.

"What's your issue with me?" I asked

"I don't have an issue."

"Really? Every time I walk into a room you turn the other way, every time i try to talk to you you turn cold and nip at every word that escapes my mouth. Every time I sit next to you in class you get up and find a new seat, I'd say you do have an issue with me."

"Lor I can't do this right now, Chastity's down stairs waiting for me." He got up and began to walk out of the room.

"Turner you know you don't want her, i'll wait for however long it takes." I stated

"It's too late for me Lor, you waited to long, so I'm gone." He left me sitting on the couch in my own confusion.

I never waited, if anything I was pretty straight forward with how I felt. Maybe he's just worried about being with the schools slut.

I'm not a slut.

Right?

The party began to wind down around midnight and there were few people left. A few drunk teens stumbled past me as I walked to the kitchen to find Sutton. As I walked in the kitchen I saw Chastity and Bella having a heated conversation.

"Oh i'm sorry." I said as I began to walk out

"We were just leaving." Chastity huffed as she grabbed her purse.

"No we weren't." Bella said

"Bella please don't make a scene." Chastity pleaded as her eyes shifted around the room hoping no one would see.

"Whatever, just get a ride from someone else then." Bella stated then walked into the back yard. Chastity glared at me then stormed after Bella. I continued my search for Sutton but she was no where to be found.

I walked back into the kitchen to get some water when I saw Bella and Chastity kissing in the backyard. I quickly turned and walked out of the kitchen in shock.

Was that real?

Is Chastity really cheating on Turner, with a girl!?
