Third Person POV
~ At an unknown place ~
A girl stood in front of her dresser, panting heavily with her eyes hidden. The morning has come to light, with small beams of sunlight beaming through the closed blinds of her windows, providing little light to the room as her room was mostly dark from the closed blinds. Her dark room in daylight unleashed an ominous vibe within it.
The girl's hands were placed firmly on the dresser table, using her arms as support to keep herself upright. A mysterious bell and sunglasses rested upon the dresser table.
After a brief moment, her panting comes to an end before her head slightly perks up to look at the mirror. Her eyes were visible now; an ominous red color was close to completely cloaking the beautiful gold color her eyes used to have. Her eyes were also weary and tired-looking; she has been going through sleep deprivation with all the symptoms and pain she was experiencing.
"Week six." She thought, "My condition is only worsening as the days go by..." She said hopelessly as she unveiled the graze mark on her upper left breast that she received during that fight... The end of the fight replayed in her mind.
She recalled rushing towards Radiant upon noticing the dark sphere approaching the light Cure. Pushing her out of the way, she was willing to sacrifice herself to the curse. However, the sphere only managed to graze her on her upper left breast. Both she and Radiant collapse onto the ground.
Upon remembering this, the girl looked at herself dreadfully. Her waist-length hair had lost its silky texture and hung over her shoulders.
"Is it too late now?" She questioned herself tiredly, "Is there no hope in saving me?"
That's when, suddenly, her curse mark began to throb with pain. The tall girl winced as she clutched it, only to be met with more pain. Suffering, the girl falls to her knees in anguish.
"No... I can't succumb to this...!" She whispered fiercely. There were two soft knocks on the door, and she gasped in response. Panicking, she struggles to reach for her dresser in her weak state and fumbles for her sunglasses. Finally retrieving it, she rushed to put it on to obscure the dreariness of her eyes and avoid suspicion.
Immediately, the door opens slightly, revealing an older girl.
"Hey, you awake?" She hissed in a soft tone as she peeked into the bedroom, hoping she wasn't disturbing her.
"Ah, yes." The girl said, managing to keep a cool composure as she got to her feet. Holding onto the door, she peeked from her bedroom and gazed at the older girl at her door.
"What do you want?"
The older girl uveiled a silk pouch before her. Eyes widening from behind her sunglasses as she realized it was for her, the girl snatches the pouch from the older girl.
"H-hey...!" The older girl stammered before the girl immediately closes her door shut.
The girl didn't want to interact with anyone due to her current state, as she didn't want to stir up suspicion. Leaning against the door after shutting it, she sighed, both in exhaustion and relief.
She then brings her attention to the silk pouch. Reading the message on the tag attached to it, she eyed it sadly through her dim sunglasses lens.
