Kohana's POV
It was the fourth week of school, and today was Monday. Middle school really isn't that bad as I thought, and I was getting ready for school.
I take one small part of my shoulder-length, dark pink hair and tied it into a small high ponytail, with most of my hair untied.
I then gaze at the photo on my desk before I leave my room to go to school. The photo was taken years ago, and it was a photo of me in a meadow, sitting on a pile of flowers with a flower wreath on my head. I wore a lovely, sleeveless white dress and I held a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I smile as I gazed at the photo.
Oh! I forgot to water the flowers...! I ran downstairs and bustled to the backyard, where I had a flowery, blooming and flourishing garden. My family started this garden, and it's beem blooming ever since. It always put a smile on my face every time I see the flowers blooming and living happily. They all bloomed in vibrant colors, making it a colorful field. I cherished flowers, as well as my family too. They were precious to me, and they're delightful and delicate.
I then grabbed the water bucket and started watering the flowers.
As I sprinkled water on the flowers, I named all the flowers that I was watering in my head and thought about their meanings.
The Aster, the September birth flower and the meaning is patient, daintiness, and remembrance. The flower conveys deep emotional love and affection...
I moved on to more flowers. I watered a bunch of Zinnia flowers, with the flowers having mixed colors.
The Zinnia, the meaning is "the remembrance of a dear friend" or "thinking of an absent friend" when a bunch of them all together have different colors...
I then continued to water all the flowers. After watering the flowers, I stared at it with my eyes filled with happiness. I wiped my forehead because of the sweat, and I stood there for a moment.
I then thought about the bizarre events that happened last week...
The leaf-like monster leaped in the air and landed in front of me, almost causing me to lose my balance.
It prepared to punch me and I braced myself, when suddenly, those five magical warriors appeared in front of me and protected me, one of them being a girl with light green hair and green attire. I remember gazing at her intently and in awe.
"Now is your time to escape!" She ordered.
"O-oh, uh... right!" I nodded before racing off, heading for a place to hide. I headed to a nearby restroom to hide. I sat in the restroom right next to the exit, knees huddled to my chest.
"I still need to find Fuji-chan..." Those thoughts ran through my head, "I hope she's hiding in a safe place too..." After that, I decided to cautiously peek through the exit and watch the battle from the restroom.
I watched the magical girls fight with all their might, but the green one was the one who caught my eye the most. I was most certainly fascinated by her the most... I watched in fascination as she gracefully fought the monster. Watching her and her alone fight gave me a feeling of safety, and it made me feel that Fuji was surely safe out there too.
Now jolting back to reality, the thought of the green magical girl caused a smile to spread across my face.
"That girl..." I mutter with a smile, fascinated by what happened last week.
"Oh!" I look at my watch. 7:54 AM. Classes start at 8:00 AM! I'm gonna be late if I don't take off now!
I left the backyard and quickly went to a mirror near the front door. I look at myself and smile before taking off, scampering out of the house and heading to Fuji-chan's house to head towards school together with her.
