We walk out the cabin, the sun hitting my untanned face.
"Serena you really do need to go out in the sun more, I'm sure you'd look really hot with a tan." He grins and winks at me, and I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Sh-shut up stupid."
He just giggles as we continue to walk in the sun hand in hand.

------------------------------

I walk together with Ash, supposedly going to my "surprise" that he wants to give me.

I have absolutely no clue what it is though.

I look up at him to a sly smirk across his cheeky little face.
"What are you smirking at Baka?" He looks down at me and his smirk widens.
"Oh, not much, just thinking about that little kiss you gave me when I came to you, and how much you cried. I guess you just can't live without me."
He smirks and I scowl at him, mumbling my words.
"S-shut up."

I let go of his hand and cross my arms, angry at him for picking on me.

"Oh come on Serena it was just a joke." "Go away."
I mumble out, moving my head away from his view.
"Come of Sere. I was just messing."
He whispers in my ear, his arms wrapping around my waist from behind.
"If you really want me to make you happy then you can just ask for a kiss."
I feel his grin against my ear, and slap his head.
"J-just shut up and keeping hugging me!"
I shout, a blush forming against my cheeks.
I feel him nod as his arms tighten around me, my body becoming engulfed in his warm arms and chest.
"You love my hugs don't you?"
I hear him whisper against my neck, and heat rises to my face.
"I-I hate them."
I scoff, turning my head away from him.
"Well I guess I should stop hugging you then."
He pulls away, my body feeling cold after being engulfed in his warmth.

I want to argue back, but I don't bother.
Instead walk beside him, a silence between us.

And I don't know if this was a good silence or not.

"You do like my hugs don't you?" He softly asks me and I slyly nod, embarrassed that he now knows.
I hear him lightly chuckle. "That's good, cause I love cuddling you, you're like a teddy bear."
He grins and my face turns a deeper shade of red.
"J-just be quiet." "Alright."

I feel his hand gently wrap around mine and don't bother to pull away.
And that's because I love him, and even if I don't show it, doesn't mean it's not true.

I would continue my rant about Ash but my thoughts are interrupted by his voice.
"Looks Serena we're almost here!"
I look up to see...
.
...
.....
.......
PEOPLE?!?!

My whole body freezes and I back away slowly.
"Serena what are you doing?" "There's no way in hell that I'm going to go meet new people." "Aw come on Serena, these people are so kind. They won't hurt you at all, I promise."
I pause for a minute but then let out a long sigh.
"Fine."
I sigh again and walk back up to Ash, looking at the people in the distance.

Is this seriously my present from him?
Cause if this is, then this has to be even worse than the bright orange dress my mum brought for me for my birthday.

"Ash, is this my surprise?"
I look up at him, scanning his face.
"I can't tell you."
He grins down at me and I grunt, crossing my arms.
"Just tell me Baka." "No." "Whyyyy?"
I groan, pouting at him.
"Cause it's a surprise, I can't tell you what your surprise is can I."
I sigh.
I guess he is right.
"Fine."

----------------------------------

After a short amount of time we make it to the people.
"Meet my new friends Serena!"

I look at them all shyly, nervous about how they'll act towards me.
Ash then starts pointing to each one of them.
"This is May."
His hand directs towards a tall, brown haired girl with blue eyes. She was wearing white shorts and a red top, a small black bow placed in the centre of the collar.

"And this is Gary."
I look over to the left of May to see a boy around the same height as Ash, short, scruffy brown hair placed upon the top of his head. He had shades on so I couldn't see what eye colour but he was wearing a black shirt with blue jeans.

They both looked ok, but I still don't trust either of them so I keep close to Ash, holding his hand tightly for comfort.

"It'll all be ok don't worry."
He whispers in my ear and I nod, loosening my grip a little.

We stay in silence for a few seconds till May speaks up.

"Hi! You must be Serena right?"
I nod and grip Ash's hand tight again.
I see a massive grin form on May's face.
"Are you two dating? Cause I can see that your holding hands."

I feel heat rise to my cheeks and quickly let go of his hand.
"W-we're not."
Me and Ash say in unison as I look away in embarrassment.
May smirks at us and grabs my hand.
"Come on, lets go have some girlie fun!"
I mentally freak and look at Ash in horror as I'm pulled away from him.
"Enjoy yourself Serena!"
He shouts to me and I gently nod, May pulling me out of the sight of Ash.

-------------------------------

May keeps pulling me till we get near a...

Whyyyyyyy!!

Why does everyone lead me to forests!
I've had enough of falling over branches!

I sigh and listen to May ramble on about how dangerous forests can be.
Like seriously, I don't want to know what can kill me.
I just don't want to go in there.

May notices my fed up behaviour and sighs.
"Do you really miss Ash THAT much."
I blush and shake my head.
"Then what the hell is wrong with you? You need to be more enthusiastic about life you fun sponge!"
She shakes my shoulders roughly.
"Why are you so boring?!"
I just shrug my shoulders.
"Right! I'm taking you back to Ash! I've had enough of Miss FunSponge!" "Wait."
She stops are turns around to face me.
"I want to be with you, for a bit longer. Please."
