I lean up and softly peck his lips, lightly smiling at him.
"I'll be fine Ash." "Ok Serena."
He gently pats my head before leaving the room.

I turn around, now coming face to face with Calem.

"How dare you kiss another man in front of me.."

My eyes instantly widen as he steps closer to me, pushing his thumb against my lips.
"I came here to tell you something Serena. Do you want to know now?"
I shakily nod as his grin widens.
"Alright then."
He steps closer to me, causing me to step back till my back hit the wall.
"You knew my parents well, didn't you Serena? You knew how much they hated you. You knew how much they wanted to kill you. Well guess what? It would be stupid and boring for me if I just went and killed just you wouldn't it? So guess what I'm going to do Serena! I'm going to kill you and all the stupid little people in this camp! And it's going to be so much fun!!"
He laughs loudly as he grabs onto my arm, his nails digging into the bandage wrapped around the burn.

I let out a weak cry as I immediately hear Ash start to shout.
"Get the hell away from her!!"
Ash's fist makes contact with his face as Calem's eyes widen with insanity even more.
"Just you wait!! Your life is on a time bomb! And there's no way you can stop it!!"
He cackles loudly as he slams the door, the walls of the cabin shaking.

I stand there for a few seconds trying to work out everything before it all comes rushing back to me, my body collapsing as tears start running down my face.

I feel Ash engulf me in a soft hug as my tears fall onto his top.
"Shhh it'll be ok relax Serena relax. It'll all be ok."
Ash whispers into my ear, gently brushing his fingers across my back.

I let out a whimper as a searing pain flows through my arm.
"Serena give me your arm please."
I put my arm in front of him as he slowly unwraps the bandage.
"Shit."
I hear him cuss under his breath as I look down at the burn, a quiet gasp escaping my lips.

It was bleeding again and oozing out with horrible stuff.

Calem's damaged it even more..

"It'll be ok Serena, it'll just take a bit longer to heal. You'll be ok."
He wraps it up again, picking me up and walking into the bedroom.

He places me on my bed, and walks over to his.
"You should sleep Serena, it's getting late."
I walk over to him and gently pull at his top, grabbing is attention.
"What?" "Can't we sleep together today?"
I whisper softly, staring into his urban eyes.
I see his eyes soften as he touches my cheek.
"Alright but go get changed first."
He gently pokes my nose as he hands me my favourite white shirt, a smile falling across my lips.

I rush into the bathroom and get changed quickly, hopping into Ash's bed afterwards.
I snuggle into his chest as his arms wrap around me, his nose resting on the top of my head.
"Ash."
I whisper, pushing my nose against his shirt and inhaling his scent.
"Yes Sere." "What do you think Calem is going to do?"
I feel his grip on me tighten as he pushes me closer to him.
"He's not going to do a thing to you Serena, because I'm going to protect you. And I will stop whatever horrible things he's going to do." "But he's going to try and kill everyone Ash."
I feel Ash's body stiffen as his voice lowers.
"What did you say." "H-he's going to try and kill everyone here."
Ash's tight grip on me loosens a bit as he lifts my chin up, my eyes now staring into his.
"He's not going to do shit Serena. Cause I'm going to stop him before he harms anyone." "Thankyou Ash."
I pull myself up a bit as I plant my lips on his.
Ash kisses back almost immediately while his hands grip my waist gently.

I love Ash so much.

I want to be with him forever.

I pull away as his eyes burn into mine.
"Serena." "Yes Ash."
He turns my body around, pulling my back into his chest as my legs tangle with his.
"You remember our date right?"
He speaks softly into the back of my head as his fingers lace through mine.
"Of course I do." "Well I was going to tell you something before that idiot hit me in the head." "What were you going to tell me Ash." "Well."
He pauses as he takes a sharp intake of breath.
"You don't have to answer me straight away but.."
I silently giggle.
"Just tell me Ash, I wanna know." "Alright alright."
He chuckles back squeezing my fingers softly.
He stays silent for a bit until his voice finally emerges from his throat.
"Serena I love you. I love you more than anything and I want you to be my gi-" "Yes!"
I shout as I turn around and leap into his chest, tears of happiness flying out of my eyes.
"I love you too Ash. I really do."
I sob, hugging him as tightly as I can.
"Ok ok."
He laughs, hugging me back.
I grin at him before I kiss him, putting all my love for him into it.

He pulls away and looks into my eyes.
"I love you Serena." "I love you too Ash."

Was that confession too rushed?
