I look up into the urban eyes I adore and softly smile, a small tear falling down my cheek.
"Yeah. Let's do this. Together."

"Get here now bitch!!"
Calem screams as he storms into the room, his eyes filling with rage as he sees us holding each other.
"Get the fuck away from him and get here! Now!!"
Ash brings me closer to him and scowls at the boy in front of us.
"She's not leaving anytime soon thank you very much. She's mine, and you're not laying a damn finger on her." "Pfft. Yeah right. Let's see if you can beat me and my knife!!"
He loudly cackles, pulling out his long, sharp knife from his back jean pocket.

He rushes towards us, his arm launching forward as he closes in on us.

I have to save Ash..
I must save Ash..

I throw my body forward as pain fills my body, a weak whimper leaving my lips as I fall to the floor.
"Serena!!"
I hear Ash scream as the world starts to fade, my hearing going with it.

Calem's laugh fills the remains of my sound as I catch one last glance of the one I love, and his beautiful urban eyes...

Before everything fades to darkness...

Two days remaining

"Serena.

Serena come on wake up.

Please.

I need you.."

Weak sobs fill my ears as I pull out of consciousness, a quiet gasp leaving my lips as a pain fills my stomach.
"S-Serena..?"
I hear the voice speak again, but I can't make it out, everything is so quiet.

I try to speak but my throat is dry and all that comes out is a harsh breath.
"Serena.. please.. open your eyes.."
I feel whoever's beside me gently grab my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.
"Please Serena.. please.."
I slowly open my eyes as a blinding light hits them, pain flowing to my head.

I make out a figure beside me, but my eyes close once again as the pain in my head overwhelms me.

I'm lifted and rested onto something warm and soft, and as I take a deep breath through my nose the smell instantly snaps me awake.

Ash..

My eyes open easier this time, focusing onto the black t-shirt my body's leaning against.
"Oh god Serena. I was so worried about you.."
I look up to Ash face, seeing the pain in his eyes.
"W-what happened..?"
I manage to croak out, though it hardly comes out above a whisper.
"Calem stabbed you.. and then locked us up here so you would die.. I've tied my jacket tightly around your stomach so you don't lose anymore blood but.. I don't know how long you're going to survive like that.."
A tear falls down his cheek as my hand weakly reaches up to it, rubbing it away with my thumb.
"I-its ok Ash.. at.. at least my last moments.. will be here.. with you.."
A cough falls from my mouth and the pain in my stomach increases, my body becoming suddenly weaker.
"Serena!"
Ash grabs my body and pulls my face up to look at his.
"Don't die on me now.. please..I need you.. don't leave me.."
I take a shaky breath as my vision blurs, my eyelids becoming heavy.
"Serena please! Please.. please stay with me.."
I find the strength to pull a smile on my lips, my hand gently touching his jaw.
"I-I love you Ash.."
