It's been a couple days since I went to the carnival with Steven.

It's Saturday and I'm sitting in my living room watching tv. Connor and my mom are at the store, so I'm here all alone.

I hear a knock at the door, so I get up and answer it. I'm surprised when I see all of my friends(minus Tod) standing at my door. I let them in and we go to the living room.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask as we all get settled. "We've decided that we are done being mad at you. We like hanging out with you, instead of ignoring you." Seth says.

"And we feel really bad about ditching you in the cafeteria the other day." Meredith says. "It's ok." I say.

"How'd you get out of that situation with Monica?" Scarlett asks. "Actually Steven helped me." I tell them.

"Steven? As in pervert Steven?" Jace asks. "He's not just a pervert. Me and him have grown a little closer over the past week. He's actually really fun and nice." I tell them. "How on earth is he fun and nice?" Pat asks.

"Cause Wednesday I went to a party with him, but we got separated so I went wandering off. I found Tod having sex with Monica and it upset me so I ran away, and Steven took me away from Tod which was really nice. After we left he took me to the carnival at the mall and we had fun. He forced me to go on the Ferris wheel, but he made sure I felt safe the whole time. He's been here for me all week which is really nice of him." I say.

I look up at them when I'm done and they have looks of surprise covering their faces.

"Are you guys like friends now?" Haley asks. "Good friends." I correct her.

"Are you still gonna hang out with him even though we're back?" Pat asks. "Of course. And if you guts are mean to him it'll show me what kind of friends you really are." I say matter of factly. "We won't be. We promise." Meredith says.

Just then the doorbell rings so I get up and answer it. I smile when I see Steven standing outside.

"Hey Abbicakes." Steven says teasingly. "I'm gonna kill you. You know I hate that nickname." I say as I give him an evil glare. "I'm sorry." He says giving me a fake apologetic look.

"What do you want Stevie?" I ask. "Don't call me that please. And I wanted to know if you wanted to come down to hangout grove with me and some other people." He tells me.

"I'd love to. But can some of my other friends come too?" I ask. "Yeah of course. Well I was just heading that way. You want a ride?" He asks. "Yeah, just wait in the living room for me." I say.

I lead him into the living room getting a lot of weird glances from everyone.

"Guys Stevens taking me down to hangout grove. You guys are gonna come with too though. So I'm gonna go get ready." I say.

I head upstairs. The girls follow me to my room and sit on my bed as I look for clothes.

"Are you and Steven like a couple now?" Haley asks. "No! God no. We are friends." I tell her.

"Then tell me more about the carnival date. What are all of the details?" Scarlett asks. "It was not a date. And we basically just...." I told them everything that happened at the carnival.

"You almost kissed?" Meredith squeals. "Yeah.." I say as I throw on some clothes and do my hair.

"Answer me honestly, ok?" Haley says. "Ok." I say. "Do you like him?" She asks.

"Uhh... Well I..." I try to say but I can't seem to find any words. "Oh my god you do!" Scarlett yells.

"Wait I.." I start. "I always read things that say people don't see the love that's the strongest. And I know there's love there!" Haley yells.

"Definitely not, I just think that he's a good friend and fun to hang out with. We can finish talking about this later. But right now we have to go." I say.

We get downstairs and find the guys laughing while having a conversation.
"Ready to go?" Steven asks me. "Yeah." I say.

We head out to his car, while the others jump into Seth's truck and Haley's car.

We get to hangout grove in a matter of minutes. It hasn't changed since I had last been here, about a year ago.

Hangout grove is an old train yard in a more abandoned part of town. It's at the top of a hill, and it's where all the teenagers go to have a good time.

But as we are heading towards all the other people I see something that tells me I will not be having fun at all.

Tod is sitting on an old bench making out with Monica. Are they like a couple now?
