Abbi's POV
When we get to Pat's house we all sit in the living room. It's only Scarlett, Seth, Pat, Coby, Jace, and I. We dropped Maggie off at home before coming here.
"So what's our plan?" Jace asks. This is the only thing he's actually been interested in since Haley. "Well we could either go in and look for him together, or we could separate into groups and search the place more thoroughly." Scarlett says. "I think it would be smart to go in groups, that way if my dad tries to run there will be someone by all exits to stop him." I say.
"Okay. So what are our groups gonna be?" Pat asks. Just then someone knocks on the door so I get up and answer. "Justice?" I ask surprised. He hasn't been around in a while. "Pat called me and told me about what was going down and I wanted in." He says as he comes in the living room. "Well the more the better. We were just figuring out groups." Scarlett says scooting over so he can sit next to her and Seth.
"I was thinking the groups should be Seth and Coby, Abbi and Jace, and Scarlett, Pat and Justice. Because it would be smart not to put any couple together cause they'd be to preoccupied by their boyfriend/girlfriend." Coby explains. We all agree and move on to the next item.
"What about weapons. We have to be able to protect ourselves if Thomas comes after us." Jace says. "We don't have guns, but we can at least bring knifes." Coby says. He said earlier that he wasn't able to steal any guns from his dad's locker at the station so we had to go without. So he handed us each pocket knifes.
"Where'd you get all of these from?" I ask. "My dad always likes to be overly prepared." Coby answers. After we finalize our entire plan we all load into Scarlett's car and head for the warehouse.
We get there in about 30 minutes. It has 2 stories and is pretty large. We make sure my dad is nowhere outside before we break into our groups and start searching around inside. Jace and I head upstairs while the others look around downstairs. The upstairs has a large open area when you first come up and 5 doors.
"You check those 3 and I'll check the other 2." I tell Jace. I carefully open the first one poking my head around it. Nothing pops out so I go inside making sure to leave the door open. It's pretty empty except for a table in the corner.
I go over and lift up the tarp that's covering it. As soon as I do a smell washes over me causing me to hunch over and grab my stomach, barely keeping myself from throwing up. I stand back upright plugging my nose and see the smell is coming from clothes.
They are covered in blood and my mind immediately wonders whose it was. Was it my moms? Haley's? Meredith's? I push the thoughts away quickly to keep myself from crying.
After searching around the room some more and coming up empty I move on to the next one. This one is completely empty so I go back into the hallway. It seems oddly quiet so I start to feel uncomfortable.
"Jace." I whisper with no response. "Jace!" I say more loudly, but still theres no response. I look into all of the rooms but come up empty. I slowly walk towards the stairs feeling more and more nervous when I see a light pass by the window outside.
I head that way, when I look out I see Scarlett, Pat and Justice leaning over someone. Just then Pat looks up at the window. I see him yell something before my world goes black.
Scarlett's POV
I hear Pat yell Abbi's name and look up to see someone at the window with her before she disappears. Just then Jace sits up off the ground rubbing his head.
"Why the hell aren't you with Abbi?!" Pat yells getting in his face. "I-I thought I saw Abbi's dad. All I can remember is running down here then it's all black." He says looking down. Pat grabs the front of Jaces shirt and pulls him close. "Why would you just leave her alone?! Now she's gone! If she dies I swear to god I'll kill you!" Pat yells in his face.
