(Abbi's POV)

"It's clear." I whisper to Meredith. She comes running from behind a bush and stands next to me at the back door. We're at my fathers house. Yes my father is alive, Meredith showed me pictures Haley took as she followed him, and we are now going to look for evidence in his house.

We stand there for a second when someone turns on a light inside, so we quickly duck down to where we can't be seen through the window on the door. After a second I peek my head up and see someone moving around in the kitchen.

"Who is it?" Meredith asks. "I think it's my dad..." I say softly. This is hard for me since I had accepted the fact that he was dead.

"What's he doing?" She asks. "It looks like he's gathering stuff to leave." I say. "Let's go out front. I have a plan." She says. So we both go to the front of the house and duck down beside the porch.

"Ok so when he comes out I'm gonna distract him at the bottom of the steps, while I'm doing that you're gonna sneak up behind him and catch the door before in closes and sneak in. But you have to make sure it closes behind you. Once he's gone you have to let me inside." She explains.

So we take positions and a couple minutes later the front door opens. Thomas walks out and down the steps. I see Meredith pop up and start talking to him, so I quickly but quietly go over to the door. I catch it just as it's about to shut and go inside, letting it shut behind me. I peek outside and see Thomas finally get annoyed with Meredith as he walks around her down the driveway and gets in his car. Meredith just acts like she walking away down the side walk. When his car is out of sight she runs up to the door and I let her in.

"Now it's time to search for any signs of him being the killer. I'll check the front of the house and you can check the back." Meredith says. She starts looking around in a front office room. I head towards the back and find a bedroom.

I go in and start searching a dresser in the corner. I find some pictures of random people in a pile. As I'm looking through the pictures I find one of myself. I look about 5, I'm at a park standing next to a swing set with Connor. I set the picture down and under it I find an envelope. It's addressed to my dad from my mom. Inside is a letter.

Thomas,

I have erased you from Abbi's memory, which means you can never come around again. If she ever figures out that you didn't leave before she was born then I will just tell her that you died in the car accident. She doesn't have to know that you survived. It's best if you aren't in her life. Please do not try to contact me or any of our children. I have told Connor also that you died. Please do not respond to this letter. I never wanna hear from you again.

Kathryn

I hold it tightly in my hand. This explains everything. My mother lied to me, and my father was just pushed away and taken from his children. How could she have done this to us. My mother has turned out to be a completely different person than I thought she was.

I set the letter down and walk over to the bedside table. There I find a cell phone. Guess he forgot to take his phone with him. I open it and his photos pop up.

There's pictures of my friends and I in there. One picture in particular catches my eye. It's Haley standing outside of this house with a camera. I search more and find photos of the other girls that were killed. All of them look as if they were taken at the girls houses. I go to his albums and see a locked one. I decide on taking the phone back with me. Scarlett is really good at breaking codes. I head back to the front to Meredith.

"Did you find anything?" I ask. "Just his mail. Did you?" She asks. "Actually I-" I'm cut off by headlights of a car pulling up. "Crap. We'll have to go out the back." I say quickly. We run to the back of the house and close the back door just as the font door is opening.

We cut across his neighbors yard and come out on the next street over where Meredith's car is. We get in and go over to Scarlett's house, I explain what I found to Meredith on the way there.

When we get there I look at the time. It's 2 am. We go to the side of the house and I throw rocks at Scarlett's window. After a couple minutes the window opens and she sticks her head out.

"What the hell do you guys want at this time?!" She yells down. "Just let us in!" I yell back up. We go back out front and Scarlett comes down and let's us in.

"Okay, what do you need?" She asks tiredly. "I need you to break a code for me." I tell her. "On what?" She asks. I hand her the phone. She opens it and the locked album pops up. "Oh this'll be easy." She says.

We take a seat in the living room, and about five minutes later she hands the phone back. The album is unlocked.

I take one look at the pictures and drop the phone mortified. "What is it?" Scarlett asks. Meredith picks up the phone and then quickly hands it to Scarlett.

"Is- is that their bodies?" Scarlett asks with a horrified look.
