"Haley Christine Parish was a very loved young woman. She had a family that cared for her as well as friends. We all know that she is at peace and resting in heaven, waiting for her family to join her in everlasting happiness." The priest says as we all stare at him from the pews.

I'm still in shock from Haley's death, but the funeral came so fast I was forced to pull myself together. I sit in silence as the priest continues.

"Miss Parish didn't leave in the most peaceful of ways, but none the less she is in heaven now. Yes there will be a life time of mourning and suffering, but I promise you that there is always a light in every darkness. Haley is gone, but she is in a better place now. And we must mourn her loss, while at the same time rejoicing for her great gain." As the priest talks more tears start to slip down my face.

"Let us commend Haley to the mercy of god." The priest finishes off. After every speaks we go outside and walk to the burial place. The casket is carried out and set on top of the hole, in position the be lowered in.

The priest says a few more things before finishing off with "We therefore commit her body to the ground; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life."

As they lower her down I turn to Pat and bury my head in his neck as I start to cry. After the casket is covered we go to the banquet hall for a reception. As soon as I walk in my mood changes from sad to angry.

Haley's parents are sobbing while people comfort them. But they have no right to sob for Haley's loss, they were never there for her and they sent her off the first chance they got. No matter what they say I know that they never loved her, they're only acting this way so that people will feel sympathy for them. As I glare at them someone walks up to me. I look up to see Haley's grandmother, Carole.

"Abbi dear, it's nice to see you." Carole says through her tears. "Carole, I can't express how sorry I am. Haley meant even more to you than she did to me, and I don't think anyone can ever make up for her loss." I say as I hug Carole tightly. We share a few more words before she goes off somewhere.

"Haley and I were best friends, I can't believe this happened"
"Haley and I always had a thing for each other, we were just to scared to act on it. Now I wish we would have."
"She was such a nice person and we will all miss her"

I hear people talking about Haley, yet none of them knew her. They are just random people that want to make it seem like they lost someone dear to them, they just want people's pity. I walk up to one girl and talk in a low voice.

"You never knew Haley, so don't you dare act like you cared for her. I can't believe you have the nerve to say you were her bestfriend, when you were one of the people who put her down the most. So don't you even dare say another thing about her, it just makes you look like an attention needy whore." I say angrily before walking off towards the refreshment table. When I get there I feel someone tap my shoulder. I turn to see Steven.

"What was all of that about over there?" He asks. "Nothing." I say angrily, trying to end the conversation. "Look, we're all devastated that Haley's gone b-" he starts.

"Just shut up! You didn't even know her, yet you're acting like she was your closest friend! Why is everyone trying to paint themselves to be her friend when they didn't know the slightest thing about her?! So don't you even try to say you are devastated about her being gone, because what you feel is minuscule compared to what I'm feeling!" I yell at Steven cutting him off. He gives me a shocked look then speaks.

"I was just saying we're all upset that she's gone." Steven says getting a bit angry. "You don't have the right to be upset! No one does except for the people that were truly there for her! Out of everyone here only a handful really knew her, yet everyone is acting like they knew her like the back of there hand! So don't you go along with it too! It just makes you look like a prick!" I yell before storming out the door of the hall.

I wander around for a minute when I find Meredith sitting on a bench down the hall. She has her head in her hands and I can hear her sobs. I sit down next to her, wrapping my arms around her shoulder.

"What are you doing out here?" I ask as I wipe the tears from her face. "I just couldn't handle the people inside. The way they were acting was making me sick." She says as I give her a knowing look. "Me too. I already snapped on two people." I tell her, I attempt a laugh but fail.

"Abbi, I've been meaning to tell you something." She says. "What is it?" I ask. "Haley wasn't just going to tell you about her being pregnant that day." She says. "What else could she possibly have been wanting to tell me?" I ask confused.

"She found out who the killer is." Meredith says as she looks at me nervously.
