A Killer Loves Me

Chapter Forty-One

I get to Haley's at 3:50 and see that Meredith is already there. We both go up to the door and knock. After waiting a couple minutes Carole answers, she must have just got back from the reception because she's still wearing her all black.

"What a surprise. What are you girls doing here?" Carole asks. "We wanted to know if we could look through Haley's room. There's something that might be of great benefit to is in there." Meredith says. "Of course you can. You can go right back there." Carole says as she heads back towards the living room.

We go in and go to the back of the house to Haley's room. We go in and close the door behind us. The room is dark and Haley's TV is still on, it's on the menu for 'There's Something About Mary'.

"That was her favorite movie." I say as I start to get teary eyed. Meredith turns on the light and goes over to Haley's desk. "I'll search for something over here, you can search in her bedside dressers." Meredith says.

I go over and open up a drawer. The first thing I find is a picture of Haley and this guy Carter that goes to our school kissing. But that can't be right because Carter and Haley never talked. Under the picture I find a folded up piece of paper. I unfold it and find a letter written on the inside.

Carter,

I have terrible news. I'm only writing this letter because I'm to scared to say it to your face. But it seems that our secret relationship of pure passion that last for 2 months and ended 3 weeks ago has resulted in the worst of ways. I'm pregnant. I know you might say that it's Jace's and not yours but Jace and I have only had sex one time and that was very recently. I still have love for you in my heart so I hope that we can raise this child together. I'm afraid that if you leave me alone in this I will fail. So please if you ever loved me, be there for me and our child.

I stare at the paper dumbfounded for a minute before I put it in my pocket. I search some more and find a sticky note the has the word SUSPECTS written in bold at the top and with names written on it. There are 3 crossed out: James, Justice, Coby. And there are two not crossed out: Pat and Thomas Carson.

I stare at it wondering what it means then I realize that my fathers name is on this list. But my father is dead, and I never told and of my friends his first name. How on earth could my father be a suspect.

"Meredith I think I've found something!" I yell to her. She comes over with papers in her hand. "Me too. What did you find?" She asks. I hand her the sticky note, she looks at it for a second then hands it back.

"Who the hell is Thomas Carson?" She asks. "My father." I tell her. "Then you aren't going to like these." She says as she hands me a stack of papers.

(Scarlett's POV)

After Abbi had to leave the rest of us(minus Meredith because she stormed off) went over to my house. When I walked through the front door with the 4 guys and none of the girls my mom have me a questioning look.

"Where are the girls?" She asks. "They took off, so we decided to move the party here. We're gonna go up to my room." I tell her as we head up the stairs. When we get there the guys all plop down on my couch as I go into my closet. I grab the bottle of vodka that I hid in there with its shot glasses and go back out.

"We're gonna finish our game from earlier." I tell them. I sit in the chair in front of them (who I may add are all squished on the couch) and hand each person a shot glass. "I'll begin." Pat says.

"Never have I ever gone down on a girl." He says. Everyone except me drinks.

"Are you seriously trying to tell me you've kept a relationship this long with Abbi without going down on her?!" I ask shocked. "She said that she finds it awkward." Pat says with a shrug of his shoulders. "Trust me, once you do it she'll never stop asking for it." I tell him.

Next it was Jace's turn.
"Never have I ever had sex with my friends girl." He says. Coby takes a drink. "Wow you really are full of surprises aren't you." Pat says with a laugh.

Next it was Coby.
"Never have I ever slept with a man." He says. I take a drink.

Next it's my turn.
"Never have I ever slept with someone over 20." I say. Coby takes a drink which causes me to burst out laughing. "Dude eww!! Now you're going after cougars!" Jace says.

Next it was Seth.
"Never have I ever gotten a girl pregnant." He says. No one takes a drink. I look at Jace confused.

"But what about Haley?" I ask him. "What about her? She never got pregnant." He says. "But.." I start but then just end the subject.

After playing for another hour everyone except Seth leaves. I lay down on my bed, then I start laughing out of nowhere. "What's so funny?" Seth asks. "I have no idea." I say as I laugh even harder. Seth lays down next to me and he starts laughing. "I think we're drunk." I say after awhile. "Yeah.." Seth says. Which for some reason causes us to laugh even harder.

I roll over and straddle Seth. "What does Seth like to do when he's drunk?" I ask as I continue to laugh. "He likes kisses." Seth says. Then he puckers his lips. I lean down and peck them then sit back up. But apparently that wasn't enough for Seth because he leans up and connects our lips again.

My hands go down to his hips and as he kisses down my neck my finger nails dig into his skin, which causes him to moan loudly. He lifts his mouth the my ears and says in a husky voice. "What does Scarlett like to do when she's drunk." Which causes my head to spin. I connect our lips again and I start to take off his shirt.

Then I hear a knock at my door. I pull away from Seth and get up, take note that my legs are wobbly not only from being drunk but also from the heat that came from kissing Seth. I answer the door to find Christian standing there.

"Are you ok? I heard weird noises coming from in here." He says worriedly. Me being drunk I say the first thing that comes to mind. "I am better than perfect. But you interrupted me as I was about to have sex with my sexy ass boyfriend." After I'm done I cover my mouth then start to laugh like crazy.

Christian opens the door all the way to where he can see Seth sitting on the bed. "I think it's time you leave." Christian says angrily. "I don't want him too!" I whine as I hit Christian on the chest.

"I just think you've had enough fun for tonight." Christian says to both Seth and I. Seth gets up and walks out of my room, making it a point to stare daggers into Christian.

"Goodnight Scarlett." He says before shutting my door. I lay down on my bed frustrated and end up falling asleep.
