Scarlett's POV

The plane lands in Virginia and we all get off. I feel my nerves rising as we gather our bags from luggage claim. We're headed to a 20 year reunion with our high school friends. Seth walks ahead with our 2 sons Aaron(14) and Ashton(12) while I stay behind with our daughter Abigail(9). "Sweetie I just want you to know that my friends might act weird towards you." I tell her. "Is it because I'm named after that one girl?" She asks. "Yes, and everyone at this reunion knew Abbi very well so your name might bring up memories of her." I explain. We catch up with the boys and put our things into the car that Seth rented. It takes 2 hours to get to Morgan's, once we get into town we head straight to Sammie's. We're the last ones to arrive, other than Maggie and Connor who couldn't make it, and I'm surprised it's still the same after all of these years. When I go in I find everyone else waiting, the first thing I notice is all the kids. There's 8 including mine.

Jace is talking to Coby, so I go over to Pat whose talking to a woman.

"Hey Pat!" I say excitedly. "Scarlett? You look so different." Pat says surprisingly. Then I pull him into a hug, I squeeze him tight then pull away.

"Who is this beautiful woman?" I ask. "This is my wife Jordan. We've been married for 13 years." Pat says with a big smile. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Scarlett."I say as I shake her hand. "You too, I've heard so much about you and the others. I feel like I practically know you." Jordan says as she smiles at me. Two boys run over, after I do a double take I realize they're twins. "These are my sons Christian and Christopher. They're 11." " Pat says. They just look at me before running off and continuing what they were doing. "They are very beautiful kids." I tell him smiling. "That's because they take after their mother." Pat says as he smiles as at her.

I call Seth over and he brings the kids with him. "Hey Pat." Seth says before they do a bro hug type thing. "Hey man, it's been too long. In assuming you and Scarlett got married." Pat says. "Of course." Seth says before pecking my lips. "These are our children Aaron, Ashton, and Abigail." I tell Pat. "Abigail?" Pat chokes out. I see a distant look in his eyes. "That's a lovely name." He adds before walking off. "I better go talk to him, see you all later." Jordan say before following after him. "I feel so bad, I thought he wouldn't be that upset." I say as I see them talking in low voices to each other. "He'll probably be fine, it's just he might not have thought of her in awhile and Abigail reminded him." Seth says. "I still feel bad for him though." I say ending the conversation.

Then I lead everyone over to Jace and Coby. "Hey you guys!" I yell as I pull both of them into a hug. I let go and lean back as they both laugh. "It's great to see you Scarlett. You too Seth." Coby says. "So tell me about you guys significant others." I say jumping to the point.

"Well this is my girlfriend Kristen." Coby says gesturing to the girl under his arm. And yes I mean girl, she looks a lot younger than us. "Why only girlfriend? And how old are you?" I ask curiously, I've never been one to beat around the bush. "Well we met 3 years ago and she's 28. I was married to a woman named Clarissa when I was 20, then we had Bethany whose 16 now." He says gesturing to a girl standing in the corner on her phone. I have to admit she's very pretty. "We got divorced at 25, then I got married to Danica when I was 29, we had Daniel whose 8 now." He continues as he gestures to the boy leaning against him. "Then we got divorced at 31." He finishes explaining. "Sounds like you've been busy with the ladies." I say making him laugh. "Yeah, I just haven't figured out how to make them stay." He says laughing too. "You figured out how to make me stay." Kristen says in a flirty tone. Feeling that the conversation was going to take a turn that I didn't want to see I focus on Jace.

"What about you?" I ask Jace, realizing the only person here with him is a little girl. "I was married to Madi's mom Jessica. We met when we were 21." Jace says. "Did she leave you?" Seth asks. "N-no. She died giving birth to Madi 5 years ago." Jace says as tears start to roll down his cheeks.

"What's wrong daddy?" Madi asks as she looks up at him crying. "Nothing sweetie." He says. "Is it about my mom, it's always about her isn't it?" Madi asks. Jace just picks her up and hugs her close to his chest. "I just don't like losing people close to me." He tells her. "I'm sorry for bringing it up." I say feeling bad. "It's okay, I've been used to losing people ever since Haley." He says with a sad look in his eyes before walking away with Madi.

After we talk for a little longer we all sit down at a table(well actually multiple tables put together) and eat some food. When we're done we all get our stuff and head to our hotels. "I'll see you guys at Clark's water park tomorrow." I tell them as I leave.

After the week is over we all go back our separate ways, and live our life's.
But I know we'll never forget the friends we've lost, or the people we've gained. We just have to learn to bury the pain and live our life's to the fullest.
