This is my first fanfic, so please don't judge until you read it. I will try to add a chapter every night. I will also listen to suggestions because if you are the one reading it, it should be what you want. Let me know! Im also 13.
-LaylaQuinns POV
The bell for first period seemed to drone on and on. Each ring drawing a bit of energy out of me. I hated first period. With justifiable reasoning, too. Who the heck expects high school students to be able to soak in any knowledge whatsoever at 7:30 in the morning?
They don't even give us desks. Lincoln High is way to messed up to consider that the drama students need actual seats. Instead of being logical, the whole class gets to sprawl across the auditorium stage. We aren't even allowed to use the crappy plastic chairs that take up the space below the stage.
Dr. Cranky, the terrible principle, says that, "The students would just vandalize the seats, and the school does not have the budget to spend money on replacements." That is just old lady speak for, "Your fat behinds would mess up the crappy chairs and I'm to cheap to buy more." I'm not sure I knows her actual name.
My things were strewn out in front of me, mixed in with my partners. We were doing a pointless project where partners were assigned and told to create a musical. Then, we would later have to pitch the musical to the class. What fun. I even got assigned my favorite person as a partner. Yay, Taylor!
Taylor Caniff is an annoying boy who thinks everything is about him. He constantly has a freaking bandana on. Today, he is showing off his personal, orange bandana. It has his name on it. He thinks just because he is part of some popular boy group he can do whatever the heck he wants. The worst part is, he can.
The girls are hopelessly in love with him, so he can be a total jerk and still get IMed that heart face emoji. Not that I ever see that.... Anyways, the teachers let him turn in everything late because he can just use the eversofamous excuse, "I was practicing for Magcon last night. We go on tour in a few weeks and have so much to do!"
If he didn't annoy me so much, I may think he was cute. He has a tall frame, but still has muscle. Plus his tanned skin compliments his chestnut colored hair. Even his braces looked okay because of his perfect lips. And his eyes. Oh the eyes.... the bandana actually looked good with his hazel eyes. They were the same color as his hair, if you looked closer, they had specks of gold and green. They were gorgeous. Not that I would ever admit that. He had an irritating attitude like he was better than everyone.
Despite all that, I can't help feeling like I belonged next to him. We were like a matching pair of shoes. You had to have the other to look right. He was only a few inches taller than me and we had matching skin tones. My black hair fell in perfect, natural waves down to my waist. I was thin, had good boobs, and not-to-little-not-to-much of an butt. I get told I'm hot all the time. It looked amazing that my eyes were crystal blue with a ring of grey around them. They stood out, not only because of the green weaved through the iris, but also because of the difference. My bright eyes were framed by long lashes and tan skin. Add in the black hair and full lips, you have got to learn to quit staring. People say I am the most breathtaking person you will ever meet.
I'm is even nice. Thats what makes me irresistible. A nice, perfect person. I talk to everyone and greet them with a beautiful smile. I have a million friends. Even if you aren't my friend, I makes you feel like one. Even the teachers love me. There is only one person I am nice to, but not as nice. Thats what makes it stand out. He can tell I don't like him. I give everyone an easy smile, but to him, it looks strained.
Taylors POV
Sometimes, I wonder how I have such a huge crush on her. Then reality hits me in the face.
