Quinns POV

Taylor had fallen asleep, and i didn't want to wake him. He looked so peaceful. It was then when i realized something. Taylor was only himself around me.

When he slept, his face looked the same, just without his constant smile. Around other people, his face looked much more strained.

It was a shame he tried so hard. Then something occurred to me. What if Taylor was trying so hard to get me? I wondered if he would change. I hoped so. It wasn't fair that he couldn't be himself around other people.

I slowly got up, frowning. I flinched when the bed creaked, but Taylor was still asleep. I sighed.

I scanned the dark room for a pen and paper. Aha. I picked up the pen and carefully wrote a note to Taylor:

Dear Taylor, I love you. I just decided to walk home. You looked so lovely sleeping, and I didn't want to wake you. I will call you in the morning, we ARE hanging out. Kisses, Quinn

I placed it carefully on his nightstand and retreated out of the room. I softly padded down the stairs and out the door.
