Taylors POV
Quinn had just gone in to try on her dress. I was day dreaming about how pretty she probably looks. For a second there, I thought I might get to see. The only way that was going to happen was if she actually wanted me looking at her.
I was deep in thought when I heard, "Taylor?"
I looked up and tried very hard not to gape. Quinn stood there, in black wedges and the dress, holding it up. She had ditched her jeans and crop top, "Er- yes?"
She smiled sheepishly, "Would you mind helping me zip up the back, please?"
"Yes. I mean no. I mean.. Ugh," I laughed as if embarrassed. "Yes I will zip it up, no I don't mind." The truth is, I did mind. Not in a bad way, either. I really liked her and she was trusting me. This was a new high. I noted how she acts differently when she isn't with Courtney.
I zipped up the back and then she twirled. Quinn motioned to herself, "How do I look?"
I felt warmth creep into my face, which made her grin. In response, I slapped on that lopsided smile Quinn loved. I heard her tell Courtney once that she loved that crooked grin. Luckily, I do it all the time. "You look... stunning." If i was going to get this girl, she had to like me first.
She fiddled with her hair, a nervous gesture, until she found the right words, "Thank you, Taylor. We... we should hang out more often."
My jaw dropped to the ground, "I'd love to. You are pretty nice. And pretty. All by its self." I was still smiling at her. Quinn was pretty put together, so seeing her embarrassed was probably the most adorable thing I would ever see.
"Thanks, uh, Im going to change." she walked quickly away.
While she was changing, a blond girl his age walked up to me, "Oh. My. Taylor. Caniff. I. Am. Dead."
I laughed and gave her a long hug. Thats what most fans wanted. They also wanted: "Can we please take a picture??"
"Sure."
Quinns POV
I walked out to see Taylor taking a picture with a girl. He was kissing her cheek. Jealousy bubbled up in me. Seeing this made me realize one thing: Taylor Caniff is perfect, and I want him to be mine.
When the girl walked away, I paid for the dress and bounced up to Taylor. When he seen me, he cracked a hundreds-watt smile.
Taylors POV
I stood and grabbed her bag, "I shall be very gentlemanlike on this lovely evening." I stuck out my arm, though I doubted she would take it.
Much to my surprise, she linked arms with me and said, "I am looking forward to this evening, too."
Then she pecked me on the cheek and smiled at me. I was much more hopeful now. There was a fire in my eyes that even a hurricane couldn't dull.
