The next morning Marinette had to wake up early so she could get ready. Tikki immediately flew to the bag when her mom woke up. Sabine headed up stairs and got Marinette some black leggings and a bright red sweater. Her mom helped her into the bathroom, and she was finally able to shower without a sponge. Her mom helped her out and got her dressed. Marinette had been trying to do more things herself, but the strain from standing made her breath harder which made her out of breath which caused more pain.

By the time Marinette was all ready, Adrien stopped by.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Yup." She grabbed her bag from the bed and placed it on her lap. Adrien greet her parents before getting behind the wheelchair, and rolling her out of the bakery.

"I'm sorry I can't wheel myself. It strains my chest." She apologized.

"No problem my love. I don't mind at all. Even if you could I wouldn't let you." He smiled. The two started towards school slowly, and had a lot of time to talk.

Alya woke up to her alarm blaring. She jumped out of bed, brushed her teeth, and hoped into some warm clothes. She took a piece of toast on the go, and started walking to the school.

She usually got there later, so more people were out and about. She reached a cross walk, and waited for the sign to turn green. She saw a group of people on the opposite side waiting as well. Once the sign lit green, she walked across.

It became a little crowded, and she heard someone groan. To her side, she noticed an older man had fallen down. He was short and obviously Asian. Maybe a tourist. Alya helped him up and gave him his cane. She helped pick up his bag of groceries, and gave it to him.

"I'm sorry, but I've got to go to school." She apologized, ready to finished crossing over.

"Wait. Here." The man stopped her. He pulled out of his pocket, an orange box. He put it in her hands, and closed them around the box.

"Thank you for helping me. You will see that this item will serve others well in the future." He told her. Alya looked down at the box confused.

"What do you mean-" When she looked back up, he was gone.

"Okay then..." She started back to school, and didn't open the box.

Nino was on his way to school. He had his headphones on, and he listened to some music he downloaded the day before.

As he was walking, he started to day dream. And he accidentally knocked into someone. It was an older squat man. He pulled his headphones off.

"I'm sorry sir. I was daydreaming." He looked down, and realized they were heading the same way. He was holding a paper bag of food.

"Do you need help with that? I don't mind being late." He offered.

"That would be wonderful, thank you." He thanked. Nino took his bag, and walked with him to an apartment complex that was right next to the school.

"I can bring it up myself. They've got an elevator. Thank you for helping me out." He thanked.

He dug out of his pocket a green box, and handed it to him as Nino gave him back his bags.

"For your help. It'll help others." He told him.

Nino looked down confused. "Um-" Nino only managed to say before he realized the man disappeared.

"Well... that was weird." He pocketed the box, and ran back to school.

Just as Nino got to school, he was able to catch up with Alya. It seems that they wouldn't be late after all.
