Everyone in the dojo lived fairly peacefully for the coming months. They trained so hard, to the point where Alya and Nino had already reached Marinette and Adrien's level of strength, but Alex and Tony got even better as they trained. Together, the team of superheroes could carry out complicated fighting strategies, and win. Alex had mastered releasing akumas and picking the right people for the job. Tony mastered flying and using his stinger gun. He figured out that his special ability is to turn into a bee for about 5 minutes. Nino was now able to use his shell both defensively and offensively. He almost mastered the element of surprise, and realized that the green was hard to see at night time. Marinette stretched her yoyos magic to it's fullest extent, and realized she could produce many types of visions, tract objects and people on small scales, and she could use it to momentarily blind others. Adrien was now more agile, and Alya developed a mind for plans.

The year has come and gone, and it was now time to get back home for a well deserved holiday break. Which would only last a week since the activity of the opposite miraculous has been increasing. Falla, the butterfly kwami, ended up spilling her guts about some plans the others had, although she did not know enough to give them dates and places.

Everyone was on the plane ride home, and their parents would pick them up at the airport.

Once they landed, they got into the airport and tried to find to luggage check. Everyone was so tired, yet excited to see their parents.

As they walked around, they passed the check out, and found the large glass wall with eager family members on the other side, waiting for their loved one to return. They looked around, but couldn't find their families.

They waited around the conveyor belt for their luggage, and soon a large line was forming.

Everyone was smart enough to add some kind of detail on their luggage. Marinette had a large sticker of a sewing machine, Adrien's had a rose sticker, Alya had a pole sticker for ironic reasons, and Nino had some headphones stickers. Alex and Tony found their two bright orange bags, and pulled them off.

Alex and Tony set off, taking a cab together to get back to the smaller dojo, and the small group of teenagers left the baggage check, and walked past the sliding glass doors. There were so many people walking around at the same height, that it was hard to see anyone's face for longer than a moment.

"Boost me." Alya told Nino. She let go of her luggage, and Nino bent down with his hands behind his back. Alya stepped up, and then raised a leg onto his shoulder. Nino stood up straight, and Alya scouted the area. They did get some weird looks. Alya scanned, and saw a group of people towards the corner who seemed to be lost. One was short with blue hair, and the other tall and buff, with a mustache. Then she saw a short woman with slicked back hair, and another wearing a pant suit.

"Sabine, Tom, Nathalie, Mom! Over here!" Alya called loudly, making the others hush her.

Alya saw her mom turn around, and nearly have a heart attack at the sight. Alya jumped down, and the group brought their bags over to them.

"Mama! Papa!" Marintte exclaimed, happily hugging them.

"Hey mom." Alya said, bringing her into a hug. Adrien walked over to Nathalie, and surprisingly, Nathalie hugged him. He reciprocated, and released.

"It's so good to see you again. It's been nearly a year." She said. The whole group was dressed for the cold weather. Paris's winters were not pleasant, and snow was frequent.

"I'm glad to be back." Adrien smiled. Nino hovered with Alya since his parents couldn't come. They were away on business, so he would go home with Alya.
