Marinette woke up early and hit the showers. She ran back to the room and started getting dressed just as Adrien was starting to wake up. Sunlight poured into the room, letting Adrien have some visibility. He looked at Marinette and saw a large bruise on her cheekbone.
"Who did you get to punch you?" He asked, irritated that she made someone do it.
"I got Nathaniel to do it. He didn't want to, but I convinced him." She smiled cheekily. She slipped on a white dress with pink cherry blossoms printed on. It was a short sundress with thin straps and a ruffled piece at the top. She put on some pink lisptick and stepped back. Her tattoos showed, and it matched the dress.
"Do you like the dress? I made it last week when Tony got some fabric airdropped." She twirled around for Adrien.
"You look positively adorable. I just wished you would have faked the bruise with some makeup." He gently caressed her uninjured cheek and kissed her on the forehead.
"He would have known a real from a fake. Trust me, it doesn't hurt. Plus I see him everyday, so he would notice if the bruise disappeared all of a sudden."
Adrien went to the drawer, and pulled one open. Inside were his clothes.
"I moved all of my things here. I didn't have much to begin with. I've got my tux hanging in the closet." He told her. Once he was dressed, Marinette put on the same cracked glasses from the night before, and they went to breakfast.
Everyone joined at the table, and the eating commenced.
"When did you get a bruise?" Alya asked while piling some rice in her bowl.
Nino looked at her and rolled his eyes. "You are out of your damn mind. Why would you possibly need a bruise to interrogate him."
"Am I missing something?" Alex asked confused, looking between the two.
Nathaniel meekly held his hand up. "She came to my room and told me to punch her in the face. Something about using it to sway the hostage." He told them quietly.
"Well next time Marinette tells you to injure her for a reason like that, don't." Nino sighed. "Marinette thinks of brilliant ideas and doesn't realize they are not the best options." He said, looking at her.
"I don't regret my decision." Marinette said through a salmon filled mouth. They cleaned up and Alex and Tony immediately went to Koto with a small portion of food. Marinette sneaked away a plate of salmon, and hid it in her room.
"Hey Alya." Marinette called to her. "You and Nino should start training with Nino. He obviously knows how to use his powers, but he hasn't been very active as of late. Make sure to get him in good shape. And teach him how to fight hand to hand." She told them.
"Will do girl. Nathaniel! Get dressed! We're going out for a run!" She yelled across the courtyard.
Marinette watched them from afar while they ran around the yard. Alya and Nino demonstrated the human bench press, and introduced it to him. Soon Nathaniel was benching Nino with Alya's help.
After awhile, Alex and Tony left the room for Adrien. While he was in there messing him up, Marinette ran to grab the food and first aid kit. She decided to wait a little longer this time.
Adrien exited the room, a blood smear on his arm, and Marinette pulled him over.
"I'm going in in about half an hour. I'm going to run/stumble into the room and close the door quickly. Once it's closed, I need you to run from my room to here. I realized that running on the porches creates some noise. Just stop around here, and then walk off." She instructed him.
