Chapter 17: Final Round

Third Person View

Irina was the last one to summon her weapon and book. Purple and violet light swirl around her creating a magical effect as she summon them. And when she finish she smirk and tighten the grip to her chained whip.

"Now, let's show them what we can do!"

"Yeah!!!"

And the battle starts. The guardians face their archenemy, the demon king. Irina and Sharlene face Ravela who summon more giant roses like what she did a while ago. The students fight the other monsters that continuously coming out of the portal.

"We need to find a way to stop them from teleporting from the Underworld to here," Kenth said while throwing ice swords to the monsters that almost slice Ayumi to half. "Are you okay, Ayumi?"

"Yup! Thank you!" Ayumi reply. She then cast a bombs from her book and plant it around the portal with the help of James teleporting it there. And just their luck, they prevent some from adding to their worries.

"Crystal Hail!!!" Lianne chant, creating a large grey cloud from above here. It then starts raining crystals that destroy half of the army. She exhale sharply before start cheering for herself. "Yes! My training finally paid off!"

"But don't you think it's quite too early to celebrate? More and more are still coming out of the portal." Elias coldly stare at Lianne who pout after hearing his words.

"Don't worry! Luke and I will eliminate the other half," Lucas said signaling to Luke. He then bring his big hammer up, before casting a spell. "Hammer equip: Earthquake!"

He bring down his hammer creating a ground trembling magic making the ground crack and swallowing the monsters and also the demons that just come out of the portal. Luke cast a spell to stuck those demons using different kinds of silver weapons and steel that he uses to create a cage.

"Elias banish them, now!" Lucas shout while maintaining the magic the keep them from getting out.

"No need to tell me." Elias get one of the steel and wrap a powerful magic around it. Silver light escaping around him and to the demons, restraining them. Elias summon a sword from his book and combine it with the steel. It then become a spear and he use it to cast a spell to banish them.

"Here I summon the gods of exorcism. I ask to lend me their power. I banish these demons and monster, now! Morage Trial!" he shout bringing down his swords to the ground. It creates a blinding light that follows by a loud boom. After a while, the demons and monsters become ashes that the wind blew away.

"Now that's done. Now with the portal..." Luke said glancing at the portal that was surrounded by dark aura.

Meanwhile at the battle between sisters begin. Ravela was the first to attack with her giant roses. It has a mouth that was chained with rusty chains that was wraped by powerful magic, black magic. Ravela use it like a wreckibg ball, trying to smash Sharlene and Irina with it. But the two dodge it quickly and sometimes, Sharlene will cast a barrier for them.

"What's this? The two friends are running away? How pathetic! You two are just afraid of my book's magic!" Ravela said as she summon more magic from her book. "Just stop running and let's play! Roses dance!"

"Shield!" Sharlene shout creating a big green shield in front of them. Irina charge and cut the rose's head using her summoned sword.

"My rose!" Ravela cry as she wrapped her hands to her abdomen. She look at her hands and saw black blood soaking her white dress.

"Is that black blood?" Irina said as she clean her sword that was full of oozing blood that comes from the big rose's stem.

"Yes, and it seems like Ravela was link to those roses that's why she feel pain whenever her roses were cut," Sharlene explain while examining the girl's situation. Irina smirk at that theory and decided to do it again.
