~3rd September~

Your POV

"He still has feelings for me," I say as I walk through the living room door, hoping that Phil wasn't still here.

I sigh in relief when I see Tess alone on the couch.

"Who wouldn't still have feelings for you? You're damn sexy, girl," she winks, bursting into laughter. I blush.

"Tess, this is serious. He can't still love me. I've moved on."

"So? There's plenty of couples like that."

"For example?"

She takes some time to think. "Jack and Rose!" She bursts. "Rose moved on but still loved Jack."

"Um, Jack died and that's completely opposite to what I said. I moved on, and don't love Dan. Dan still loves me."

"Nope," she grins. "I think you still love Dan."

"What?" I shout, my cheeks turning red yet again. "No I don't. I love Jase."

"You're blushing!" Tess squeals.

I shake my head. "You've been drinking, haven't you?"

"No. I just know my best friend too well. It's obvious you still have some love left for him, even if you don't know it's there. I see it in your eyes and in your smile when he's around. And yes I did just reference that song."

"Great," I mutter, but still loud enough for her to hear. "I come to you for help and you act like an idiot. That's so Tess."

She groans. "Fine, take a seat. Time for the real talk."

I roll my eyes and drop onto the spare space of couch. She looks into my eyes, suddenly looking serious.

"Whatever you do, you can't lead him on. Anything that seems like flirting needs to stop. Even though you and Dan will always be my OTP, you've got a life and a fiancé in LA and you can't just throw it all away because your ex has feelings for you. Don't let his feelings get to you, either. Because then you think you have feelings for him, which you kinda already do. None of this is really making sense, is it?"

I nod my head. "I got a few things out of it, so don't stress too much about it," I say, getting up from the couch.

"Where are you going?" She damands.

"To Skype Jase. Is that okay with you?" She rolls her eyes and nods in response. "Thank you," I smile, skipping out of the room.

I enter the room which once belonged to me and leap onto the bed. I pick up my laptop from the other side of the bed, which was the side that Dan had occupied months ago, and place it on my lap. I open it up and log in. When it's finished loading, I click the Skype logo and send Jase a message that I'd like to talk.

After about seven minutes, which is strange seeing as he usually replies immediately, he calls. I press answer with an excited grin.

"Hey, there, handsome!"

"Hello," my fiancé says in a whisper.

"Is everything okay? Where are you?" I look at his background. Instead of our black, leather couch, he sits on what appears to be a marroon one.

"Everything's fine. I'm just at a friend's house and they're all asleep. Nothing to worry about." He acts very strangely, as if he doesn't want to be caught talking to me. But I shrug it off and tell him about my time in London so far. I mean, what could possibly be wrong?

Our conversation goes on for about half an hour, which is disappointing. You hear about most couples talking for hours on end. I think back to that time Dan and Phil were in Dublin and I was talking to Dan on Skype. We talked until I fell asleep...

"Yeah, I'll be in there in a minute," I hear him mumble, interrupting my thoughts. "Sorry, I've got to go. Bye." I open my mouth to say something, but the call goes blank.

"Bye, I love you. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Jerk."
