Prolouge

"Poseidon, please, admit I'm right." the king of the gods protested. One would think that title was enough to stop people from fighting with Zeus, but not his brother.

"No."

"Very well."

"Fine."

"Stop arguing." said Hera, Zeus's queen and wife.

"We were called here for a meeting?" Hermes said, supporting his mother.

"If not, I'm leaving! I have a war to win! Heh heh heh..." Ares snickered.

"As usual..." Athena muttered. She hated his constant killing, while she fought for just causes.

"Silence!" Zeus boomed.

Every one of the twelve Olympians, along with Hades standing in the back, immediately quieted down.

"Very good. Now, I summoned everyone here, including Hades, who never leaves the Underworld..."

"I was wondering why I was here." Hades sighed.

"SILENCE!" Zeus boomed again. He did. "As I was saying I summoned everyone here because...Kronos's pieces...crawled back together."

Everyone gasped.

"So, it will be like before..." Apollo said, drifting off.

"And the time before that when we fought." Artemis, his twin, finished.

"Yes." Zeus replied. "Which is why we must act before he gets strong, which will happen quickly."

"You mean, not have a repeat of the events with Percy Jackson?" Demeter asked.

"Correct."

"Percy..." Poseidon mumbled.

"So, what do you suggest we do?" Aphrodite asked.

"We should get the demigods to help, but this time, we do it quicker!" said Hephaestus.

A few of the gods nodded at this suggestion.

Zeus sighed. "No. We will wait until we know exactly what to do."

This received annoyed looks, but everyone agreed.

Zeus stood up and lifted his thunderbolt. "Everyone leave, then."

The gods stood up and started parting ways: Ares to fight, Hades underground, and everyone else where they wished.

Alone, Zeus began to think. Don't let history repeat? It must. We cannot prevent it.

War was coming soon, but he was determined to make sure as many demigods as possible lived. But, like before, isn't that impossible?
