Mira slowly peeked out the window. A large squad of thirty harpies was outside the Big House, surronding it, claws gleaming, voices screeching.

Clara pulled Mira away from the window. "Too many." she whispered.

"What do we do now?" Joseph asked. He started to pull out his two daggers. "I think I have an answer to that."

"Don't you dare." said Clara.

"Fine."

Mira started to go upstairs. "Shouldn't we be safe?"

The walls started to shake, many claws scraping them to get in. Fear closed in on trio. Joseph quietly followed Mira, Clara right behind him. They sat in a hallway on the second floor, looking outside.

"Come out. COME OUT!"

"So...hungry."

Something tapped the window, and Clara muffled her scream. The kids started to hold each other, hiding in the corner of the hall.

"Guys, what if we fought them? Don't we fight monsters?" Mira asked.

"Thirty? Sure. But, I saw a lot more than thirty." said Joseph. "Clara was right about the Labyrinth. So many marched from the woods."

"They are conquering the camp now, and we just happen to be in the way!" Clara explained, body shaking.

Mira went to the window and started concentrating on the river. The frozen river didn't move.

"There!" said a Harpy.

So many beasts flew up to the window and smashed their way in. Mira bolted back toward her friends, the three of them backing up as far as they could. Claws almost grabbed Mira, but fire scorched them.

"I can't hold it forever! Think of something, and think fast!" Joseph shouted.

Clara sat down and looked around. The hallway was empty, all she had was fire and water. "Joseph, burn down the walls until we get outside! Mira, you'll have to take his place and keep the harpies back." she ordered.

Mira and Joseph did as they were told, the walls falling from the fire and the harpies getting drenched. Clara grabbed Mira and they leaped down the new hole Joseph made. He went inside to grab Chiron, then followed the girls towards the woods, towards the Labyrinth. The angry army of harpies gave chase, flying into the forest. Clara led the team toward the old Labyrinth entrance, which now had monsters pouring out of it. She nodded to Mira, who shot up a tree, holding Clara and Joseph.

The groups of harpies stopped and stared at each other. Joseph shot fire at each one. They began to fight.

Clara, Joseph, and Mira snuck around the battle and leaped down into the brand new Labyrinth.

The walls were stone and slightly wet, hopefully with water. The air was cold like winter had settled in the maze if it could. Footsteps were coming, lots of them.

The demigods calmly stepped into another passageway to let more harpies pass by to join the fight.

"Are the gods in here somewhere?" Joseph asked.

"Most likely." said Clara.

"But...where?" Mira mumbled.

All the tunnels and traps lay before them, each leading to an unknown fate.
